Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

bab,

you have to deal with reality.

you want things to be a certain way.

but think about it this way and all will become clear:

there are FAT AND UGLY GIRLS OUT THERE who really wished that men would look past their exterior. they know they are "beautiful on the inside" and why does everything have to be about sex and appearance and stuff anyway? they are good people. why don't men want to be with them?

do you SEE?

they want reality to be different too. but how likely do you think it is that REALITY bends over backwards to conform to you?

compare your wish to that of a fat ugly girl and it becomes clear. men are not going to go after the fat chick. girls are not going to go after a wimpy guy that can't even be bothered to learn the game.

oh - that's another thing - you are being selfish.

that game is about creating attraction for THEM. you're just thinking about yourself and what you want. but what about what they want?

they are animals programmed to be turned on by certain things. this game is designed to hit those buttons.

but you don't want to play, you don't care about creating attraction.

like the fat chick. they don't understand that men are animals programmed to want certain things.

LOSE LOSE LOSE.

accept reality and operate according to its rules or lose.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
