"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Most guys have a tough time when it comes to the point where he needs to ask her for a date. It's intimidating to put yourself in front of a woman and give her the power to reject you. Well, I'll tell you right now that you don't need to suffer that kind of intimidation ever again.

There's a simple secret here, and if you use it, it will increase your success rate by 100%.

Are you ready ?

DON'T ask her for a date.

That's right, you heard me. Don't ask for a "date." If you do, you'll only be triggering a defense mechanism in her mind that goes something like this :

He asks her: "Hey, what are you doing next Tuesday ? Want to go on a date ?"

She thinks :

He wants a date with me...
That's flattering ...
But I'm afraid he'll want more ...
And he'll want sex ...
And then I'll get hurt, like all the times before ...
Better avoid that pain right now...
I'll just come up with an excuse, or I'll accept and back out later.
"Thanks for asking, but I'm not looking for a relationship," she says.

You nod your head, not knowing what to say, and walk away, shot down again.

Unless she really likes you a lot right from the start (hard to do in just a five minute conversation), a date seems like too much too soon to her.

How To Get Girls To Date You
Instead of asking her for something predictable and scary like a date, try this :

"Hey, you know, you seem like you might be fun to hang out with. I'm going to Chalkers next week to do play some pool with some friends. Give me your home phone number, and I might invite you along for a game or two."

Why does this work ?

You don't say "date."
You don't make it definite, which is less pressure.
You make it a cheap, fun experience that she would want to participate in.
If you already have her phone number, you simply call her and tell her that you're going to play some pool, and to meet you there for some fun. And you tell her if she's really fun, you might buy her a beer. Maybe.

If you ask women out on dates too early, you'll be broke and depressed in no time at all. Why would you spend over fifty bucks on a dinner and a movie (and that's the cheapest you'll get away with these days) with a woman you might NEVER see again? That you might not even get a kiss from ?

You want to ask her to accompany you on adventurous, thrilling meetings, where she knows she's going to have FUN. Not "dates."

When she has fun, she starts to lower her defenses and let you in. If you approach a woman with an obvious agenda of "dating" her, then it's pretty obvious that you're going to expect sex later on. She would eventually want that, too, but she wants to trust you first. You need to shortcut past this and get her to trust you, and you do this by sneaking under her defenses.

So stop asking for dates, and start including her in your lifestyle. You'll get the opportunity to seduce her and get her attracted to you if you don't make it too scary up front.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I know you're new here, and I like how you are posting advice instead of asking for it, but you are giving some REALLY bad tips in this post.

If you approach a woman with an obvious agenda of "dating" her, then it's pretty obvious that you're going to expect sex later on.
You are telling people to hide their intentions, and to pretend to be nothing more then a friend. This is a very stuipid thing to do. She will either think you're not interested in her, or she will think you are interested in her, but don't have the balls to make a move. Either way, unless the girl is a complete loser, she will put you in the friend zone. Girls want guys to be assertive, and direct. Then she will be approached by a guy with balls, and will end up sleeping with him while you're wondering why she's not returning your calls.

If you already have her phone number, you simply call her and tell her that you're going to play some pool, and to meet you there for some fun.
Generally, it's bad to tell the girl where you're taking her. It ruins the mystery and gives her very little to look forward to. By keeping it a secret, a surprise, you make her anticipate the date, make her look forward to seeing you. Always be vague if she asks where you guys are going.

Various women have various desires and interests when it comes to men.

Some like more directness, some like more mystery.

I offer but one of many ideas and methods of many thousands.

To each their own in who they wish to become~~

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

The message of this tip is good, but MindOverMatter is right in that you shouldn't hide your intentions.

He asks her: "Hey, what are you doing next Tuesday ? Want to go on a date ?"
This is basically an issue of semantics. Nobody talks like this anyway, this isn't the '50s. See, a "date" doesn't have to be dinner and a movie or something cliche; a good date could be going swimming or hiking or bowling. Just something that is fun, active, and cheap. And that's basically what you suggest.

Most girls are looking for a MAN, someone who does want sex, because deep down that's what they want too. Girls do not think like the example above, if they make up an excuse it's not because they're 'afraid you want more,' they're just not attracted to you. Hiding your intentions will just end up putting you in the friend zone and she'll find someone who's not afraid to be sexual with her. Asking specifically for a "date" would probably be a turn off not because it is too forward, but rather it sounds to old fashioned and formal, i.e. boring!

There are definitely two schools of thoughts. I think an older crowd will be better off doing MoM way... by having the intention known at first hand. Older folks are generally busier and tired of all those ambivalence game.

Well it's up to you whether you want to use the words "date" or not. I'm kinda on a shy side so I just say "let's go out here" and hope she senses that I see her in a romantic light.

The first meeting between the two of you is.. just a meeting. She or you may call it a date - but it's a meeting to see how the both of you are.

If the guy does not show romantic interest (kino) or same forth for the girl - no sense of sexual tension/attraction.. consider future "meetings" .. just "meetings"

If you are like and don't like to use the word date.. then have different variety of meetings with romantic overtones.. sooner or later she will sense you see her romantically and will say something about it. Girls are not that cruel and keep going on a ride without telling you her status.

HOWEVER, there is a problem with this as I have done this in the past. Girls will always bring up the relationship issue "Are we just friends or more." Do not answer this on the phone if she calls you.. if she asks you in person.. it is time to start laying down the kino and tell her how you feel. If she says "Well I only see you as friends" - oh well.

So what happens if you ask primarily "Hey girl, let's go out on a date" instead of "hey let's go out" - then some of what some of you say is true.. it puts the girl in the mindset that she should be in a more attentive mood and expect you to act romantic as she might too. It shows the girl you are taking a bigger risk by making it more formal AND it quickens the process on whether the girl likes you as a friend or not.

Either method is fine as the girl will always be direct in telling you where the relationship is heading.
