"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I just met a girl today and asked her to be my lab parter for a lab class. Got her number, but she probably assumes for a class use.

How should I approach her?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Just by reading your sig I can tell you're insecure. The tip mentioned above is probably your best bet (if your friends are cool people) but start it off w/ a question about lab class homework, then say, "Cool, thanks. I gotta go, I'm meeting up w/ some friends. Hey, we're going to go see (Insert film title here) later, wanna come?"

I put that in my sig cuz I get annoyed when people correct my spelling and grammer. Too seem less insecure, maybe I should write "i know my spelling and grammer sucks, don't point it out you grammer-elitist prick"

Anyways, all my close friends have gone home for the summer, I the only one from my group taking summer school.

Any other tips? She asked by to study with her before our lab tommarow, I'm thinking about asking her to go out to get some coffee or icecream thursday night after our study session/before our lab. However, if we thursday night, we'll have to go right after our lab since it gets out late. If we go out on a weekend night, she might have plans already. If I ask her out next week, that may be too far off considering i'm gonna see her 3 days a week. I don't wanna wait too long to ask her out, but, after I make a date arrangement, I don't like to see her too often before the date.

Man, thats alotta stuff. Oh well, nothings perfect. If she likes me, i'll all work out ok, but doesn't hurt to be a smooth as possible.

FCK!!!!!

just found her on facebook, she has a boyfriend. end of thread.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Go study with her at a social place. Maybe like a starbucks or something if you're into that kinda scene.

Hell a library works too, as long as you guys are isolated.

EDIT: Minute too late, tough luck bro :(

Here's some more details for your interest:

When we met, she said that we have met before freshmen year. I didn't remember her at the time, but after looking at her facebook pics for a while, I did finally recognize her. (looked at a pic of her ass for a while, some how I recognized her (yeah, her ass is that good)). She was a friends friend, but she blew me off when I tried to go talk to her. Back then I was a hardcore AFC and was 30 pounds lighter, so I don't really blame her too much. She was all friendly to me when I met her next time. Amazing to see first hand how superficial people can be. Or maybe she's just using me for my brains, hense the study session.

Edit:
man, im way better looking than her boyfriend.

Another edit:
wait, since im bigger and better looking than her boyfriend, maybe I can get her to dump him and or cheat on him. I'll see what her body language is at the study session, and i'll let you know the results tommarow.

.
:D That "ice cream" thing reminds me of the famous "puppy dogs and ice cream" line from "Swingers".
I think you're looking into this WAY too much man. If you're THAT wrapped up in this then you're destined to fail. No way you could act natural if you're plotting every equasion.
As far as the boyfriend thing goes, most of the girls I date have boyfriends. "Boyfriend" doesn't mean "closed for business".

Not to be a hater, but you seem kind of insecure, and it's going to take more than looks for a girl to dump his guy, if they're serious at all. Sounds like you need to read the DJ bible thru a few more times too, if you have to ask how to ask someone out. The second she was your lab partner, you should have been laying down game and the # close should have happened the first time you ever met.

I did get her number when I met her. I did mention I met her freshmen year, but that was like 2 years ago, and I didn't remember her when we met the 2nd time.

I did read the dj bible and fastseduction side, but reading is not gonna give all the answers you need. You need experiance to be a dj. Like i mentioned before, I had a plan to ask her out. I just wanted advice for experianced dj's.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Sounds like you are further than I read in your original post, you'll have to excuse my assumptions. Just remember to be playful when you guys are together. Don't take things too seriously. Tease her (i.e. close the book while you guys are reading it with a big sh*t-eating grin on your face). Studying together seems to give the most natural opportunities to Kino as you should be sharing pens, paper, books, etc. As a DJ, you should strive to get to the point where you shouldn't even need to go on a date, how about fvcking her ontop of your homework after a bunch of pent of sexual tension gets released? ... but if that makes you feel looser and more confident, by all means.

Good luck man!

Thanks for the advice dude. Even through she has a bf, I can still look at the glass as half full. I have someone to develop my social skills/kino with out that pressure since I nothing to lose. I can be more confortable being mean and alittle offensive.
