To get decent enough striations, definition and most of all size you got a long way to go brah.

Getting big isn't easy.

You are already pretty lean as it is so I would cut out the running and focus on just lifting heavy. Maybe cardio twice a week would suffice.

Bench, Deadlifts and Squats will work your entire body and release things like HGH and boost testosterone levels a lot which will help you grow fast and even aid in recovery when you sleep.

If anything try working out twice a day if your body can handle it.

I would give it a good year to put on any substantial amount of muscle.

Other than that keep at it brah!!!
Thanks for the tips. However, if you read the entire thread, the goal is to build a little bit of muscle and cut fat. I had a borderline "skinny fat" body when I started and it is my intention to rebuild myself and get a more attractive physique.

You should go back and look at photos from Day 7 to see how quickly I've progressed by lifting 4 days a week and cutting out the crappy foods.

Part of my fitness goal (not physique goal) is to get back to being a competitive runner, so getting "huge" is not really a goal either. At 6-2, I can't afford to be anything above 175 lbs and still running a decent 5K or 10K.

My goal is not this:

But rather this:

Just to the keep this thread updated....I hit the wall with a bunch of big projects at work which called for a lot of late nights and crap food. Regardless, I did go to Aruba....

Here's a pic of me at the pool:

I got a long way to go but I'm happy with my body. 95% of 35 year old men don't look like this...so I'm proud.
