time limit to edit posts

i just found out there's a time limit that the administrator can put on editing posts, so i cant edit some of my older posts. could we get rid of this because editing posts is a big deal when it comes to stuff like the bible or tips, especially if we want to update something.

it would be great if this could be changed.

Time limit is currently 24 hours. This is to keep people from going back and deleting all their old posts.

The mods and I will discuss it.

yeah man why is there a time limit...i wanna edit some of my guides-add stuff-take stuff out, and now i cant

and also, what if something happens and i dont want people to read my posts? i should be able to edit waht i need out

i suggest for the tips forum to have an extended or infinite editing time limit, so we can edit our tips when our thoughts or time change.
