Time between asking out and first date..

If you've met a girl quickly or not had much contact (i.e. Cold approach or online), what is the ideal amount of contact during that in between stage from asking her out until the first date? Say you asked her out on tuesday but you guys arent going to meet up til sunday.. Should you just stay out of contact until day before or day of to confirm? Do you come off as insecure/desperate if you are texting or calling her during the week just to shoot the sh*t? Or do you risk her losing interest and flaking by not talking to her until day of? I guess you want to keep the time in between shorter to avoid this issue but sometimes thats not really doable.. What do you think?

I wouldnt contact her at all.

1.) Just show up to the date as planned

or

2.) She will shoot you a text during the week to either confirm or "talk". You can respond of course but dont turn it into an all day event.

*Also....dont worry about her somehow "forgetting" about the date. Women are very organized when it comes to social events. You really think she would "forget" about a date with an attractive man? If youve played your cards right to this point, she wont forget pal.

Stay out of contact.

Remember: you're a busy, wanted man; leave her alone and let her imagination do the work for you! You don't have time to double-check that your date is going through, you don't have time to see how she's doing midweek. You have nothing invested in eachother. As at the male, the alpha male, you're focusing on your busy life (which probably includes other women), and you're going to that date with NO expectations except to have a good time.

Texting her means you're thinking about her. If she's not thinking of you, that indication that you're thinking of her = GAME OVER.

Show up to the date as planned, as Exception said. If she has any interest, she's got that date with that cool, mysterious guy on the top of her mind, and she'll be there. If she doesn't show up, she's a **** and you're saved from wasting time and $ on her (probably won't happen if she's genuinely accepted to meet).

Thanks Espi that was a great thread.. I realize I'm probably rehashing things that have already been brought up many times before on here my bad on that. Lot of good people on here though appreciate the feedback guys. Have only been reading for a few days and its kind of amazing how clear it makes my past fuk ups look. At the time I was like wtf this girl is insane why did this happen, and now its just yea bro because you did XYZ it makes complete sense.
