Just thought I would share that and spread the word about this talentless thief. No doubt there will be no lawsuit and he will get away with it. That's usually how it is when the rich man treads on the poor man, but meanwhile feel free to download any of "his" tracks from any P2P network completely guilt free!

Listen to rap artist of the 80's (there's a thread in the forum listing them). There was a ton of original talent back then. They were so talented, you could easily tell one rapper from another without even recognizing the song.

That wasn't sampling, sampling is when you use a small section from an original song and loop it. Timbaland took the artists entire arrangement and passed it off as his own. It's theft pure and simple, unless Timbaland bought the rights for it.

I don't know, it's easy to acuse people of plagiarism. We'll have to see Timbaland's take on this, allthough, this sounds, like a theft.

Now, to go and call him a talentless thief... that's a bit off. I mean, look at all he's created by now, don't tell me it's all a theft. He and Pharrell are the top producers right now. In the current situation, melodies will always sound similar to others. But, yeah, this sounds like a copy.
