Throwing a Party Tonight, and I am SO Screwed!

Seriously, I am sooo screwed right now. My roommates and I are having a party tonight and I invited every girl I know. Like seriously every girl I ever met in college. I have been secretly going tanning, and I went twice. I think I misused the goggles this time because these are seriously the biggest pale circles around my eyes I have ever seen! So my skin is pretty burnt, and a large area around my eyes is completely white. I am in a complete state of panic right now and every time I look it gets worse. If these girls see me like this, then there goes my chance.

PLEASE can someone help me out on this? My friend has makeup that blends with skin in his room (he covers his zits). Will that help at all? I can't tell any of my friends because they will never let me hear the end of it. Does anybody have any ideas at all? There is no way I can cancel this party.

Anyways..... yeah, like the other people said, think this will actually be something you can work to your advantage. You're already peacocking in a sense, totally red skin with white circles around your eyes. I bet it makes you look a heckuva lot more interesting than your boring friends.

Seriously, wear some goggles and come up with some creative story about how you surviving an explosion or something (like in the cartoons)..or better yet just tell them the truth. Funny stories about your life are always an easy way to start a convo with a girl.

Wow, not only did nobody notice the circles, but I actually got laid last night. The party went really well. at least 40 people showed up, which is a lot for the size of my apartment. This just goes to show how I can get so insecure about petty BS that nobody else notices. This was a pretty big revelation for me, because I have been stressing unbelievably about how my skin isn't perfect (had acne in high school, and there is some scarring). Friends and family always say that they don't notice, but I have a hard time believing them most of the time. Good stuff, though. Maybe this experience will help my confidence in the long run.
