I disagree here. I think what's going on is an internal moral conflict. At face value, if a guy learns a woman has slept with 30, 40 + guys, she is simply a slut. But when he LIKES a woman and learns this information about her later on, that context makes the news rather disturbing. Not only does he have to accept he has fallen for a slut, but it also devalues her affection for him---in other words we like to think her affection for us is somewhat novel and she hasn't doled it out to dozens of other men. Most normal men could not allow themselves to like a woman who has exceeded his own threshold of slutty-ness...whatever that number is. When knowledge of this breach reaches him AFTER desire has been firmly established, there is a major conflict going on that most men cannot reconcile.

YEs, That is is the explanation that makes sense to me. ^^
Finding out ( one revelation at a time) that the women with whom whom you have entered an LTR was not the neo virgin that she portrayed herself to be, but was a cheating c0ck hopper in her past , is real hard to take .

Personally, I find it extremely insulting that a woman would recklessly c0ck hop before deciding that she wants to give me her tore up leftovers.

"..tore up leftovers." Ha ha ..IT is fascinating that women who have slept with a LOT of guys still regard their vagiina as some kind of awesome ultimate commodity even though it has had 30 previous temporary owners.
It is as if they still give it the value of a glittering diamond that never loses it's market value.
Delusional ?
