Thoughts on the AFC

I had a couple of thoughts about AFCs.

The first one is this:
I bet there are a lot of guys out there who believe in themselves, who are just being themselves, and doing exactly what they want to with their life. But maybe they don't read the DJ forum, and maybe they don't conform to this forum's expectations of being a bad boy or whatever. But they don't care because they're being true to themselves. Then when this guy ends up getting a girl one of these "DJ"'s wanted, they post on this forum and call him an AFC.

So I'm thinking a lot of these guys are not really AFCs. Just because they do not live their life by following Pook doesn't mean they're AFCs. Maybe they don't need Pook. Maybe they're totally content doing what they want to do, living life they way they want to live it. On the other hand, a wuss is still a wuss.

The second thing I was thinking about was:
Is there a female equivalent of the AFC?
The only thing I can come up with would be the girls who always end up falling for the "bad boy" and end up getting manipulated, cheated on, and hurt by him. Their putting up with his bad behavior is probably pretty similar to AFCs putting up with women's bad behavior.

1st: The point of following the advice of Pook, et al is to achieve your goals in terms of women, whatever those may be. If being in an exclusive LTR is your cup of joe, then so be it. If you can achieve so without external advice, then you are all the better. Results are the key here. If you're achieving what you want, then keep on trucking.

The reason a lot of us need the advice, however, is because we're so assbackwards that we can't grab ahold of basic concepts like socializing. The advice, however, is to be taken with a grain of salt. The moment the advice is holding you back from achieving your goals (in essence, the person you're becoming is not in tune with your personality/beliefs) and its making you unhappy, then its time to kick the advice to the curb.

2nd: AFCism is less rampant in women because they do the least amount of work in terms of hooking up. Guys have to be a decent (if not complete) package to even be considered in the running. Women just need to have tits, more or less.

The female version of AFC is any ugly girl. All girls have strong insecure urges however. The girl that gets heartbroken by a guy is a regular girl.

Pooks articles and the game knowledge is just a documentation of knowledge about women. It isnt an alternate method. You could go through life and gain enough experience and skill to find out the 'advice' yourself. It's all the same.

That's a very interesting concept. To put it differently, an AFC is to women what ugly women are to men.

Guess you could say that AFCness isn't about what a MAN IS, but what his EFFECT IS. In that respect, your statement is correct.

This describes me before I came across this website. Sure I had onetitis for girls, but I didn't really do anything to supplicate to them. This website confirmed many things that I suspected but could never find out for sure in real life. And I was happy with my life. It would be lie to say that I was a complete success before coming here, I'm still not. But I was doing okay for myself and didn't have to know all the details on why it worked.

I remember in HS, i overheard a girl talking to another girl how a guy asked her to prom. He dressed up in a gorilla suit (at school) and held up a sign that said "I would go bananas if you go to prom with me". This was long before I ever knew about websites like this or what a PUA was. And even then, i thought how freakin lame that was. And I was having a real hard time determining if thats what it really takes to get a girl. And it baffled me how the guy could even come up with such a thing to do. A couple of girls asked me to prom and they tried to make me feel bad for not wanting to go. Like I was really missing out on something big. And now... I know for sure that it was a stupid thing for that guy to dress up like a gorilla and she probably owned his balls after that. And years later I don't regret skipping prom at all.

I've always been a bit different, but this website empowered me to do things the way I want to do it and feel comfortable doing it. And its a hell of a blessing to find out that women are attracted to that kind approach. With all the feminist brainwashing that goes on, you would think its a bad thing to follow your dreams and not give women everything they ask for, no matter how outrageous. But this website showed me that not only is it a good thing, but that women are drawn to it as well.

Yeah, i agree with this. Its tough to compare though. Men have been been manufactured into AFC's through social conditioning. Women have more or less been manufactured into being plate spinners and players through social conditioning. Sad thing is, both men and women are being conditioned to act opposite of their true nature.
