thoughts on dating someone that doesn't turn your crank, but is good enough?

I've got a rapport going with a few girls right now that would make perfectly good partners (6-7.5) but don't really affect my heart rate too much. However, I DO have a couple possibilities I'm pursuing that are so hot I have to really concentrate to stay calm (7.5-9).

The issue? Fate is cruel...both of the hotties are in my once-a-week Friday classes, and the regular cute girls I see three to four times a week. Should I go for the more-likely catches or the less-likely catches? It's not like having high standards is a bad thing, but it's not like those'll keep me warm at night...

Makes perfect sense, man...that's just what I thought I'd get.

One thing I've also noticed is that I relax a hell of a lot more with women I won't make a move on (married/attached women, coworkers, etc). For some reason the fact I can't do anything about it makes me take more of a take-no-prisoners approach to flirting...meetings with my career counselor are NOTHING but thinly failed flirting sessions right now.

If i were you i would go for the cute ones not the hot ones if you are so sure you are guaranteed you have a great chance of dating them. Get yourself experience. If it don't work then just go for the ones that are left
