"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Oh my god, there's a lot of half truths on here being stated as full truths.

Ok first of all, lets get one thing straight. None of you know crap well enough to tell someone else how to live life the correct way. I can't tell you how to live the godly, "natural" correct way. I think we can though point out what's unnatural, because of the problems it creates, because if it was natural it would be what we've evolved to handle best.

As far as colors. Real men wore loin clothes. Real men wore armor. Real men wore Musketeer outfits (can anyone say doublets?). Before we had all these fancy colors there were still real men. Colors don't make the man, it is something else that makes the man. That said there could be some truth that women will perceive you as more masculine by wearing colors that have either social or pychological influences. Doesn't it make sense that if women are trained to think that men who wear pink are more masculine then men who wear pink will have better success then men who don't, all other things equal. Also if pink is a color that is associated with passiveness doesn't it make sense that men who would it would also be perceived as more passive and less aggressive (masculine as many here define it). Those are two different ways people are influenced in how they perceive you, so which one is right? The obvious answer is that they're are both right in that they both are influencing people, but which way is right? It depends on what influences the women you want to attract more. If you like the women that like men in pink, wear pink. If you like women who like men in cowboy boots and tight blue jeans, then wear that if it makes you happy.

------------------------------

There are good and bad attributes to everything. Nothing is black and white, if it is then you are just too ignorant to see the other possibilities. As far as metrosexuality: I think the obvious bad point is that if you are letting society tell you what to do, then that would make you less like yourself and would thus be worse then if you made the conscious choice to wear what makes you happy. A good point of metrosexuality is that it brings awareness to how society told men to be before. You know, the dumb retarded man composed entirely of masuclinity but who still couldn't fix his car after they switched from carburators to fuel injection. The Bounty man. The lumber jack. The soldier. Like it or not that ideal is still just an imaginary construct created by society. It has nothing to do with whats natural, or maybe I should say it isn't completely natural. A good thing about metrosexuality is that it allows men to be pampered more so. There's nothing wrong with with men who like pedicures just like there's nothing wrong with men who like grease under the fingernails. What is wrong is when you are a man who likes pedicures and you are too afraid to get them because of what everyone else thinks. What's also wrong is for men to constantly buy frilly crap because they think that people will like them more because of what they're wearing.

Bottom line be yourself. Don't let society tell you to be anything else. Also be aware that societies ideal has been ingrained in you since you were born, so its hard to tell what is "natural" and what society promotes as "natural." Do what makes you happy and at least if all the cretins that do what society tells them to hate you then at least you won't have to deal with them.

All you homophobes. If your entire reasoning is based on a manmade religion, then stop trying to tell people that your way is godly because chances are God hasn't talked to you and you aren't able to discern what some other cretin said God said and what was added or modified or misintrepretted. So get off your high pedestal because you aren't any better then a HB10 who's sitting on a pedestal.

-------------------------
Being masculine doesn't mean you are in charge of your society. Read up on bonobo's or any one of the several other close relatives to humans with females as the dominant gender. Also both genders want the same thing. They want their needs fulfilled. They want to live happy lives. This isn't a pissing contest. Bring people up. Show them the truth and why its true and realize chances are you probably are just as wrong as they are, so you should be listening to them too.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I find it disturbing that you would automatically label anyone who doesn't affirm homosexualit a homophobe.

There are billions of people in the world who have solid reasons for not affirming that life style. You have to respect that as a valid point of view. In fact. most people in the world beleive it is dangerous to a society.

If a person wants to believe that it is a sin then let them and don't label them and vilify them. There is also nothing wrong with someone who doesn't affirm homosexuality as a moral lifestyle. You should also know that a true christian, wouldn't hate them for being that way. They would pray instead for them.

Everyone has a right to believe in their religion without persecution. Such comments and labels are a form of persecution. If you belive that is isn't a sin and that it is normal then you have a right not to be persecuted.

If you wouldn't want to be persecuted for affirming it as a valid lifestyle then don't be a hypocrite. After all it is just your opinion. How do you know you are right? What makes you so sure you are not standing on a pedistal yourself. Did God tell you that you were right? No.. I don't think so.

Therefore, before you try to take the sliver out of someones eye make sure you don't have a log in your own.

Well you guys CAN disagree with the homosexual lifestyle. That's your choice. But it doesn't mean you can impose it on other people.

I disagree with marriage altogether, but I don't go around telling people they shouldn't marry. I won't marry, but what other people do is none of my business.

In this world, people disagree with many lifestyles. Some people disagree with keeping other races alive. Some people disagree with religion. Some disagree with drinking.

You have a right to disagree, but that's for your lifestyle. What does it matter what other people do behind closed doors?

Please don't misunderstand me...

by using the word homophobe, I'm using it in its literal context. I'm not trying to imply that people who don't respect homosexuality as natural are homophobes. If I meant that I would have said that.

We're all in search of the truth so if any of you can enlighten me as to why homosexuality is unnatural, I would really appreciate it. I totally accept the possibility that my view is wrong, but I think it is more likely that I am not wrong.

I don't believe in organized religion, but I am spiritual and believe in a God. One important question that would need to be answered is "Why does god choose to let people be born as homosexuals?" That assumes that people aren't choosing to be homosexual, because I don't think anyone would choose a life of persecution like that. Another question is, "If homosexuality is unnatural, then why is it so common in nature?" Another would be, "If its unnatural, where does it come from? What forces cause it to exist at all? Whats its scientific basis?"

-------------------------------

However, the very tiny part of my post that even mentions anything related to homosexuality is by far the most trivial part. Far more wide reaching and applicable is the rest of my post which deals with the actual topic of this thread which is metrosexuality and not homosexuality.

Also please don't assume that I'm persecuting you. Persecution by definition requires punishment or harassment. Demanding a conversation partner to be your equal is different then judging and its different then persecution.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I never said you were wrong as a person. I think it is a mistake or an error to think that homosexuality could be categorized as a moral lifestyle. Wouldn't morality demand a conscious choice? I don't believe that homosexuals choose to be homosexual so I don't think it could be considered a moral issue.

Another issue is that christianity as it is known today is not the same as christianity as it was when it was created, so that raises the issue: Which christians are right and how do you know that you are "right" as a christian compared to a different christian? I'm not trying to judge I'm just curious.

I'm not religious (not anymore) and even if I was, the Bible (putting aside the Koran, Vedas, whatever else) has little (or, more accurately, nothing) to say on the subject of homosexuality - its proscription came about long after even Christ is meant to have died. It has even less to say on the subject of pink clothing.

Anyway, I was talking about 'insecurity' in terms of 'look what he's doing, that's all wrong' when your time would be better invested in looking at ourselves.

why should they all go to hell?

forgive my naivity but I just don't see the logic behind this. Please help me understand the apparent knowledge that I'm missing that prevents me from seeing clearly.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You make it sound as if it is natural??? I don’t have to explain to you why it is unnatural to have sex with an infant, do I???

The onus is on you to explain how a man’s penis belongs in a man’s ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is not our corruption for us to explain!!!!!!! Homos never use logic to explain this!! They never explain shyt – they just call names and like a bytch they try to use emotional appeal!!!

And “NO “– man was not born to put his penis in a man’s ass!!!!!! It has no scientific basis – it is a corruptive act and a demonic force that has perpetuated its’s existence!!!

See my thread “The natural order of things – sexuality explained and defined”

The natural order of things

The onus is on HOMOS to explain how a man’s penis belongs in a man’s ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

END OF SISCUSSION!!! WHY TALK OF PERVERSION!!!! OH YEAH, HOMOS LIKE PERVERSION!!!!!!!!!!

have a mind of your own, pick up girls by being yourself, not by being someone gay designers tell you that you should be. and instead of trying so hard to impress them, try making them impress YOU for a change and you may have more success.
Dude, you should make a solo post just to say that again! This alone is bible material, you know! :D

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
