Now I don't live in the States so my view on your society is somewhat limited but I think it's quite telling that in my subconscious mind it's a lot more NORMAL for black kids to commit such a sick act than it is for white kids. Why do I hold this subsconscious belief in my mind that when a white kid does this he must be really sick in the head but when a black kid does this, it's kinda "normal"? Food for thought...

That says something about your mentality that race and ethnicity plays a large role in how you view heinous criminals. So maybe you should analyze that and truly try to know what makes you tick.

One thing Ive noticed is that in pretty much any society...there are those who think this way when criminals don't share their nationality, ethnicity, or skin color. Its the "other" mentality, and wanting to pin the blame for sick behavior somewhere that's not close to home.

You wouldn't believe all the anti Asian and anti immigrant sentiments that floated around after an Asian American immigrant student shot and killed a bunch of people at Virginia Tech university some years ago. This all despite the model minority status Asians tend to hold in this country.

That's usually how it goes with any of these cases in any country really. When the perp is of the majority's background, people simply call him/her a vile psychopath and don't bash their background. When its a minority, many people will instantly sit around bashing the minority background in some way.

Happens in the USA, happens all over Europe, happens in Japan from what Ive seen and been told from Japanese friends. But hey....some people are smart enough to step back, analyze all this and realize these things...while others are simply content on sitting online throwing the hate around.

All this said, there's another revolution coming very soon in America.

Why? Well, it's because that's what's not only promoted by the media (black men = thugs) but it's accepted, glorified and internally promoted by the black community as a WHOLE (not just in the ghetto areas).

Black Middle and Higher Class individuals, instead of separating from the stupidity, they instead embrace it as some we are all "black" and have to stick together type of bullshyt. Then when we ALL are seen as ghetto, ratchet, thugs, then we want to MARCH in the streets and talk about "white supremacy".

It's bullshyt. Everytime I'm around a group of black people and call out this stupid, ratchet shyt I'm called a Coon and an Uncle Tom. I have an extreme problem with the black community allowing Black Men to be represented by TRASH of the race.

White people don't do this shyt. Larry The Cable Guy isn't the symbol for white men, Mitt Romney is. White people as a whole will laugh at Larry The Cable Guy's jokes but make it CLEAR that he's "over there" in terms of redneck/trailer trash. They don't march around with this "we are all white and have to stick together" bullshyt and thus have the world seeing White Men as all acting like Larry The Cable Guy. When the world thinks of a White Man, they think of Mitt Romney, some type of "evil" Capitalist with a bunch of money that's using cheap labor to obtain massive profits. When they think of a Black Man, they don't think of Barack Obama, they think of Lil John or 50 Cent. It's bullshyt!

What do stats have to do with a foreigners mindset? He has preconceived notions based on no knowledge of stats. What about European and Asian nations that have this same problem of judging minority criminals much different from majority criminals

EDIT - Nevermind the fact that the NYPD Tapes scandal with Adrian Schoolcraft showed how manipulated CompStats can be. Someone already chimed in from another thread who WORKED FOR THE NYPD. And people continue to ignore what both he and I said about racial profiling, false arrests, quotas, and false police reports to rig the stats. Read the below quotes from this thread.

Yes, that is true. Blacks get profiled more though in my experience cops are generally d*cks to everyone who does not appear to be wealthy.

The reason we do go after people of color is not because we are personally racist, heck so much of the force is multicultural now, so that's just BS! The real reason is because we are coerced into doing so. Failure to comply with the Stop & Frisk campaign, infamous for its targeting of colored folk, were met with reprimand. You come in with consistently low numbers and they send you to the sh*tiest post and f*ck around with your hours until you fall into line. You become ostracized by management and peers to the point where your professional life becomes miserable. And if you even think about speaking out about any of this, your career is done and you should fear for your personal safety.

People want to target cops but we're just pawns in the game. This is a top-down problem.

LMAO! Maybe it was true 15-20 years ago but I can assure you this department produces one of the most aggressive breed of cop in the country. It doesn't matter if you are robbing an old lady or smoking a joint, you will be taken down with the same ferocity. It's all a part of the "quality of life" crackdown started by Rudy Giuliani, another huge f*cking douchebag.

The brunt of police work involves building relationships with the community - when they trust you they become your eyes and ears, and this can mean the difference between no leads and blowing a case wide open. You can't do this job in a vacuum - you need the people. When cops forget this vital fact they are no longer serving or protecting those that really need it.

LOL - production numbers are for after the fact. If they tell you to reach certain numbers beforehand 'or else', guess what? It's a f*ckin quota, and an enforced one at that.

I moved to Pennsylvania. Still get some gigs in the city but mostly I am your run of the mill mall cop. Pay is not the best but benefits/hours are better and it's easy street here compared to NYC.

Well formed opinion based on what? You don't live here. Do you have experiences with the neighborhoods where police abuses happen? Have you ever really been in the problem areas of the USA? Do you have experience as an officer or professional in the US justice system?

Ive provided posts from someone who has first hand experience as an NYPD officer. I have friends and family who have worked in the courts or as law enforcement. Hell, PairPlusRoyalFlush would be able to tell you folks some of the bs that goes on with our police or in our court system...and hes not someone I normally agree with.

Nevermind the fact that Ive brought up well documented corruption in our society and manipulation of stats...and it'd be nice if someone directly addressed these things I brought up. The issues Im speaking of are part of what influences people's opinions of ours society and our criminals. And you're right, a foreigner's ignorant opinion means little to me when he has no first hand experience with the big issues that affect my country.

Don't do what Americans usually do when talking to foreigners (some of my fellow countrymen try to be know-it-alls about nations in which they have no real experience)

I also find it funny now how the Left-Wing Media is bashing cops all across the board. Tell you what......let's have ALL the Cops walk off the force then. Let's see how the quality of life for these Left-Wing liberals (and the country for that matter) goes to hell.

They bashed the hell out of the cops in Ferguson and MO in general, but when the black thugs were tearing down the city a week ago the FIRST thing the Liberals said were, "Hey, where were the cops! Where was the Guard!"

You are the first black guy on this forum who has ever attempted to answer the question of, "Why do blacks commit a higher rate of violent crime than other races?". I may not agree with your answer, but at the very least you are looking at reality and asking the correct questions.

I have a black buddy who is in law enforcement. He has been strangely silent on this whole cop-bashing deal. I can't get him to approach this subject. He knows what's up but I know deep down he also doesn't want to be seen as a traitor to his race. Tough place to be in IMO.

You are totally correct. You see, being a "critically thinking" black man on the side of only what's right and of common sense, will get you KICKED out of the black race today because if you are black, you are supposed to believe the following:

- White Supremacy is holding us back. While slavery and Jim Crow is over, we as blacks are still enduring the effects of it and we are still being held back today across the board. So if I'm black and poor, if I'm a black woman with multiple kids from multiple thugs, if I'm a black man involved in the drug game with 700 felonies, it's NOT MY FAULT.

- Republicans are all racists. The racist Democrats from the prior 1960s era moved to the Republican Party. So you HAVE to vote Democrat because that's the only party that's not racist towards you as a black person. It doesn't MATTER if the Republican candidate is talking sense and the Democratic candidate isn't, you MUST vote Democrat because voting Republican is voting for a racist.

- We as blacks must stick together. It doesn't matter if I'm a black man with an MBA and a Career, and my "black brotha" has 700 felonies and 16 baby mommas without providing child support to ANY of the children. We as blacks must stick together I'm NO BETTER than my "black brotha" with 700 felonies, in spite of the fact that I have no felony with good credit, an MBA and a solid Career and he DOESN'T.

- All Cops hate black people, so when you are pulled over by Cops, you don't have to be NICE and professional....NO....what you should do is tell that Cop how you feel with his sorry a.ss! Tell that Cop you have a right to not move to the side of the street if he ask you to, tell that Cop you have a right to REFUSE being arrested if he says you are under arrest, TEAR up a traffic ticket in front of the cop's face if he writes you one! Stand up and tell the Cop to kiss your a.ss! If you get shot, beat, or arrested as a result of these actions, then it's not your fault! The Cop was out to shoot, beat or arrest you anyway because you are black!

To be "authentically black" today, you have to be STUPID as hell and follow STUPID logic. If you refuse to follow STUPID logic, then you are "cooning for the White Man," "selling out to the White Man," "kissing the White Man's a.ss," and you "wish you were White."
