Last night I went to a dance my school at my university had (like a business school, or a communications school, etc.). Anyway, although I have only gone to two homecoming dances in my life, I did pick up a way to get some kino on the dance floor...if you do it right. I had no clue what was going on, but remembe it well enough to try and help here.
First, you need to know the chick. This means TALKING to her and maybe having a brief conversation. You can't do nothing and expect the chick to start dancing with you. You need to make some sort of move to make anything happen. Last night, I went with a few people (guys and girls). I only know one guy and one girl in the entire group of eight (most of my friends that go to this school at the university weren't going for w/e reason). I talked to the one I did know though (HB7.5 - 8) and that got the ball rolling.
Next, have the guts to go out on the dance floor. If you sit on the side the entre time, you aren't going to get anywhere.OK, I actually would prefer not to dance. I developed my own little strategy of eating or drinking something as I walk around so it looks like I'm busy and not just sitting. Last ngiht however, this wouldn't work. First, they charged for sodas, so I only got one. The other reason, the main reason, was that the people I did know were all on the dance floor, so I figured I may as well try it.
Start to dance a little, even if you suck. Don't go crazy, but try to move a little to the beat. Also, you want to atleast attract the chick's attention if you're dancing in the group w/ her. If she likes to dance, she'll start using kino on you and try and loosen you up. Well, I admit I am a HORRIFIC dancer. However, I felt good I atleast reached the dance floor. The last times I really tried to dance was at my own Bar-Mitzvah where I really danced and last year when my friend tricked me into making me dance at Hooters. Last night, this hot chick really likes to dance, so I was caught waaaay off guard when she took my tie and started dancing up on me (the guy I knew started laughing cuz he saw how stunned I was at first). Anyway, even though she still danced with most of the guys in this group, she did try to loosen me up dancing-wise. Of course, I don't really dance a whole lot, so I couldn't really loosen up and really get into dancing. This is something I'l improve on over time. However, if you are a good dancer, this can work great. Make her feel like she is loosening you up (means more kino) and then all of a sudden, you show her your moves (results in more kino).
So I got some kino, which was great. Getting kino from someone who is attractive is going to boost your confidence, even if it is just a tiny bit. It reasserts yourself that "hey, maybe I do look/act/present myself alright!" Just talking to a chick and making it onto the dance floor is what got me decent kino here. Keep this in mind. The key ingredient here is CONFIDENCE. Without confidence, I would have not said much and have been sitting on the side all along.
Now of course she has a bf that doesn't go to this school, so there was nothing I could really do. But I did learn something last night, and I hope this little spheel I gave you here helps when it comes to dancing, or trying to
