"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Just a note: i've noticed more FR's in the past month than i have in the past 3 years. Even field reports w/ 15 approaches & 0 numbers (007 :D) but it doesn't matter.

It's nice to see as well that people are slowly starting to move away from canned game to realizing that it's not about saying a certain line but more about conveying a certain image. It's nice to notice that people are realizing that attraction has a direct correlation to controling emotion. Tactics & theory's are all good but are useless unless delivered under YOUR OWN style. Don't copy peoples lines because when delivered it DOES NOT sound like it is original. Learn to improvise and use subtle tactics (turning your back on her) to build rapport.

Anyway - - Read some of Tyler Durden's stuff on bristolliar.com and Jugglers. And GET OUT IN THE FIELD!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i HAVE to agree with you on that... no where as bad as it has been in the last year or so... not wher eit was when I first got here, but we are going in the right direction.

I know personally, I make a concious effort to give advice. I come here, even though I really don't need to any longer... if I or anyone else didn't, you would have the blind leading the blind, where Keyboard Jockyes would rule this site giving advice to REAL people trying to do REAL things.

I"m with you backbreaker, if I didn't feel like giving advice, then I would only be looking in the bible. It would be used just to pass the time.

I do like passing the time if I don't have any work or waiting for her to get off of work because of my LDR girlfriend. Which is awesome (Thank you sosuave ;) ).

Now, I'm off to go talk to her again after my shower.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Yes, it is getting back to being more intelligent. I rarely posted anything the past year or two because of all the posers/keyboard jockies on here overcompensating for their insecurities. I also sensed much anger, hostility, and frustration. This board opened my eyes when it came to dealing with women (and life in general), so the deterioration of the discussion boards was disappointing.

This evening I log on and the atmosphere is completely different than it has been the past year. People are giving thoughtful advice, as opposed to lazy platitudes. The hostility and personal attacks have taken a back seat to self improvement.

Just out of pure curiosity, what the hell happened on this board a year or two ago that caused the quality of the posts to suffer? And why are we now hopefully beginning to see a renaissance?

I came back :D. LOL JK I think enough of the people who knew what they were doing were fed up with bullshyt and decided it was either make or break. It was a last ditch effort for a lot of people, myself included and i know posters like Wyldfire and some of the other people who have been here for a while were considering leaving for good.
