"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Thinking of ending Relationship

Ive been going out with this girl since november, but its not really a normal relationship, we are not bf/gf but we are ''exculisive''. We see eachother randomnly, no too much just once or twice a month at the most 5 times a month and we hide our thing from her family, they dont really accept me. Now, the weird thing is that everything is sopoused to be very serious, we made some plans for the future if everything went well. But since some weeks ago ive been thinking of ending everything because of several issues.

1. Shes the only one that calls me, i rarely call her... she complained once and questioned me asking me why did i never showed no interest in calling, since then she calls less, sometimes i dont hear anything about her in 3-4 days and i think shes doing this in way of revange.

2. Sometimes she could be the sweetest girl telling me how much she loves me but most times shes very cold, ive noticed that she wants to hear that from me too but its turning to a situation were the one that says ''i love you'' first looses. And the other one gains control.

3. Iam getting fed up with this ''relationship'' because we are not official, we dont do the normal stuff a couple would do. But yet we are exclusive so when i see a pretty girl in the mall i cant do nothing. I guess i want to be able to date other girls but i will not do this while having ''something'' with her.

Iam in this weird phase rightnow where i want either to have something real with her or just back away and focus on being free to do what i want with whom i want. I mean this girl is nice and everything theres no lying no cheating but we seem to be fighting to gain control of the relationship. So tonight iam planning to let her go, tell her that things are not good as i want them to be, (dont give her any details) but iam not too sure how to do it, and iam no too sure what would i do if shes willing to do a little bit more for our thing, cause thats the problem i think she needs to do a little bit more for us which iam not gonna ask her.

Any ideas? Opinions?

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Despite what feminazi propaghanda is out there, a girl is supposed to do the "maintenance" part of the relationship. In the beginning 1-2 months of a dating relationship, you should do 65% of calling, that reverses itself afterwards. a girl is supposed to give you great sex (oral sex, being aggressive in bed sometimes), cause if she *WAS*you would have much less second doubts about her.

and if you two have great sex, it only means that you two are communicating really close. A GIRL should be the *one* to communicate to you how she is and what she wants, and the communication ratio from the dj bible is RIGHT, she should be talking 65-70% of the time while you finish the rest.. if it's equal or you seem to be doing more talking - she doesn't really care that deeply about you.

i know i'd never leave a woman or look elsewhere if my girl gave great sex. you're getting there bro, she probably knows that you may be unhappy with the relationship - you can say something to improve or break it off or don't say anything at all. g'luck. while you're contemplating a breakup, visit www.nomarriage.com to help you decide what girl you really want.

"End it. You know that phrase "you can't have your cake and eat it too"? Right now, you can't have it OR eat it, but you are basically forbidden to have or eat any other cake. End it."

What is this? Is this what you guys truly do? No wonder there's so many of you out there complaining about how you shouldn't have let that one girl go when the next B*tch that comnes along breaks your heart. I think you should talk to her and let her know how you feel. Think about it, you two are currently playing mind games, and no relationship is based on guessing. Trust me, you need to let her know how you feel before you make the decision, give it a try and base your decision on the outcome of the conversation. Maybe she has some feedback and some reason behind her acts or maybe she feels the same way as you do and ending it would turn out for the best. Just keep in mind that a non-approval from her parents might be putting her under a lot of stress....Good Luck :)

Umh? I don't know if I can help you.

I agree with the other gentleman who writes that great sex is a great part of a relationship with a woman. Do you have that with her? If so, it might be worth the effort to give it a better chance.

I don't blame you for not calling her, I myself do not like to talk on the phone. Why don't you try an other aproach? You could initiate more frequent activities with her. You won't need to blaber on the phone but you will only use it make arrangements.

Also, with activities you will each of you be getting pleasure out of the relationship. That's a good part of what relationships with the serious others are mostly about.

You could see her twice a week for some time and see how it goes. If you initiate the meetings, she will appreciate that you are showing her some interest without you having to kowtow to her. Show her attention by doing things with her instead of having to waste time on the phone. She will watch your moves instead of having to listen to your speeches.

And by the way, f?ck her family. You are a grown man and you don't need them. Let her deal with them. That's her problem.

I said that because his relationship is "we're not going out with each other, but you can't see other people anyways". Why don't you learn to read next time?

i'm not saying *you* should shut up in conversations, i'm saying that a girl that is interested in talking to you will open her mouth at a higher rate than you. there's a difference between someone being interested in you for something than someone who is indifferent. someone who is indifferent won't really care about asking anything about you or talking about anything interesting in particular. i've dated enough girls to make that opinion and i've also seen relationships where there's a big mouth jerk guy mouthing off his opinions while the shy girl is silently nodding her head - it may seem she's into him - but she's just with him for a reason besides really being interested in him. Guys, most important - listen if she is asking you questions about what you do for fun or hobbie kinda questions...girls who usually ask those questions are curious and interested in you. That's the difference, fool.

It's not necessarily ALWAYS that ratio, but as a general rule, especially in the attraction phase the woman should do more talking than yourself.

If your a GREAt story teller, than by all means, entertain with your stories... but for the average person it's better to come off as a good listener.

Sorry bud, but thanks to this site, I've litterally tripled the level of success I've had with women (by the numbers) in the past two years compared to the rest of my life combined... and not just in the area of women.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
