"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

There are two types of people in this world... Thinkers and Doers. We all know some of both... but probably more of the former than the latter. Everyone loves to talk about what grand ideas they have for themselves and for life... but how many of those ever get done or even attempted?

You need to shut your mouth and put yourself into motion. Stop talking for the sake of conversation and actually do the things you're telling everyone about. It's how you get respect, it's how people will start to look at you differently and above all else... it's how you'll feel better about yourself by gaining much needed confidence.

Been talking about buying a new car? Just do it!
Going on a vacation? Seeya later!
Changing jobs? Quit!
Sick of your girl? Dump that $lut!
Lose Weight? Stop talking, start walking!

You see... I have been part of both sides of the equation. I love to talk and I'm very good at it. But friends/family will get sick of hearing about it when nothing is getting done.

Finally one day, I called my best friend and said "Hey I got a new job." Now I haven't had a job in 7 years (im independently wealthy)... but I wanted one. I didn't feel normal without one and instead of talking I just went out and did it. Tell people AFTER you start to do something or let them see it for themselves. When you do it once... you'll want to do it again, and again... you'll be the talk of your friends.

It will make a lot of difference in their perception of you.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

it'll also make a big difference in the way you perceive yourself; you'll see yourself as much less of pvssy to put it bluntly

it was sometime last year that this idea struck me so much when pook said it (15 lessons); although he doesn't actually say "action not words" is better, it's got a lot to do with this

Lesson2

Friendship- Abandon all hope ye who enter!

“But why, Pook!? Why is friendship hopeless!? I fall in love with my female friends. Do they not do the same?”

Pook then called up a woman. She appeared in a blaze of fire (probably from the place which all women are from…).

“Oh woman, pray tell! Why do you not go after your male friends?”

The woman looked amazed that anyone could ask her that. “Because they are just friends.”

“But do they not fall in love with you?”

“Yes. My male friends constantly fall in love with me.”

“And, speak truly madam, what do you and your male friends do?”

“Oh! Well, we hang out. We talk a lot.”

“Talk? About what?”

“Everything. Anything.”

“And they fall in love with you.”

“Yes.”

“Ahh…” said the Pook. “Now we have the answer. Away with you!” And the woman vanished in a fireball.

“What answer?”

“Why, it is a difference between the sexes. Young man, what do you do with your friends?”

He looked thoughtful. “We play basketball. We ride around town. We play video games. We…”

“But do you and your guy friends ever sit around and talk about your feelings and things going on in your life?”

The young man looked angry. “HELL NO!”

“There is your answer. Men do not get together and just talk. We do things. When we are with our women friends, we talk much more. Since we reserve our talking, sharing emotions and experiences, to our romantic interest, we get confused with our female friends. We begin to get interested in them because of this.”

“But what about women, Pook?”

Pook pointed to the telephone lines above them. Lightning surged and glowed along the lines.

“The phone lines! They are on fire!”

“Indeed. When women get together, what do they do?”

The young man looked at the fiery lines. “They talk!”

“About what?”

He looked thoughtful as sparks rained on him. “Everything!”

“Women usually aren’t used to getting together and doing pure action. So when they do so with their guy friends, they get a bit confused as well.”

“I see…”

“So avoid the friendship route. When you see a woman you are interested in, go for her romantically. For a friend she sees, a friend you shall always be.”

Does this mean that if I play basketball with a woman, she'll fall in love with me?

hey, great tip...i've experienced this too, and i've definitely tried to do the latter lately...it makes yourself feel better too, that you're actually doing rather than just talking ...

"don't talk about it, be about it"

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
