There is no safe haven, the only thing you got is you and your own life. Everything else is a temporary luxury.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Some people do get lucky but most of us don't. I know a few and they have it all right you would say. But once you are there, once you got what you think you want it is not all that great. And chasing it is very counter productive, it makes you lose what you think you want and feel bad about it, while there is much more to life than that.

If you start winning in your own life for nobody but you and make that the most important thing. Girls will be all over you and make you feel tempted to switch things around. But if you never do you will have a crazy happy life, don't get tempted to settle down and drop it, when girls pull on you in response to this it will be hard, because they will it is extremely powerful but hard at the same time. Just don't give in knowing this. And start winning at life.

You can read this forum and learn some tricks but in the end it is all about the inner game and confidence.
