Today I was at a client location fixing a couple of severely jacked up computers, and it was just me and the 22 year old secretery. I started asking her opinion on this and that...the usual "Are you attracted to nice guys or jerks" shtick.
As the conversation went along she was telling me how a woman should take care of her man, that a man works hard all day and should come home to a massage and some TLC and some good food.
She went the whole nine with women being supportive of men, who actually have created and maintain civilization. On and on she went, as I secretly wished she had a {much} older sister.
She said she grew up in a traditional Italian household where men are treated with... Get ready... RESPECT.
I told her she is a rare bird indeed and that I was certain that not one of her freinds agrees with her. She said her friends are totally lame when it comes to dealing with men, that they walk around with a sense of superiority and entitlement. None of this was prompted by me. She was just blurting it out.
So take heart, men. She may be one in a million, but apparently they do exist, although they are exceedingly rare. Oh, by the way, she wasn't a fattie. She is thin and hot. She is the one-in-a-million exception to Atom Smasher's Maxim, that "Quality of character is inversely proportional to beauty". This is one case where it's GREAT to be wrong!
