"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

There is a difference, there is a hell of a difference, what between you ask? What woman THINK they want and what they REALLY want.

Let’s think of it like this, your mum and nearly all of the people you know tell you that woman want nice guys, and guys who see to their every whim. Luckily enough, we know better, because this is just a load of **** that people say which makes them think that love is fair. After all if getting women was so easy, then hell yeah would that be true. But let’s look at this realistically now, this is far from the truth.

This **** that people say, even leads the women themselves to believe it,

JUST IMAGINE THIS:

You are told from as far back as you remembered that all men like ugly girls, and all the other people around you tell you that this is so, the people that are maybe very close to you, tell you, and all you hear on the matter is the same thing over and over and over again. What are you going to think? Well after living with this mindset for such a long time, when an ugly woman walks by, you instinctively think that this woman is someone that you should feel attraction for…

So then what?

You approach her and yeah the ugly girl gladly accepts all your advances and you ask her out, to which she replies, “Yes of course!” But you realise that something is not right?

What’s wrong?

What’s wrong is that you feel no attraction! You have no idea why, what is it that you don’t like about her? She’s ugly so you should love her… Maybe if you tell her you love her a lot then it might make it true? (Because this is something a lot of hot woman do when they think that they should love Mr. AFC)… You tell her you love her almost to the point of it becoming completely monotonous… but it doesn’t change… So you think to yourself, maybe she just isn’t ugly enough, so you regretfully dump her, and move on to see if you can find another ugly girl… You are blind to the truth… Because you start looking at hot girls thinking JESUS IS SHE FIT!! And this isn’t what should be happening? (Oh goodness!) Hmm maybe if you go out with her and tell everybody just how ugly she can be on certain days it will make it all ok, (notice how I am relating this to how girls describe their C&F semi-mean to evil biker dude boyfriends as sweet once you get to know them? Even when/if this isn’t the case?) And you begin to dump more and more ugly girls (nice guy kiss-asses) and begin dating more and more hot girls (-- Us lot >: ) --)…

This sort of thing (the girl version), you will notice, happens A LOT in high schools in later years, when girls think that they are turning into proper women, and need a nice kiss-ass boy to date so she can follow the make-believe trend which everybody has told her. (Noticed how certain girls assume they should be thinking about marriage?)

Because I’ll tell you now that MOST girls, I repeat, MOSTTTT girls, are running as blind as the AFCs, not in the fact that they find it hard to get boys, but because they don’t know what makes them feel so strongly towards C&F guys… Sure SOME of the hotties might have a rough idea to a pretty good idea when they realise that the guy’s a challenge, but in general they run blind. But do you think that because someone is a girl, that they could easily write the next DYD? No, and if they could the shelves would be teaming with them (if they didn’t care about having the power to pick and choose)… And okay yes, the girls do admit that they like a bad boy, but they don’t usually mention half of the reasons why, and I could bet you that they COULDN’T, they might say something like, I don’t know… he’s rebellious and it turns me on? They will never say, because he is mean to me and is controlling… No that wouldn’t be very trend-like would it? It doesn’t seem right does it? Ask a girl who is going out with a bad boy why she likes him… you might even get to hear the famous, “he’s nice and sweet once you get to know him :)” if you’re lucky :)

I sum all of this up as fitting in with a make-believe fact of life, and I hope that I have made a post which brings up good points, thanks for reading :), this is my first big post *shock horror* so I am open to criticism (constructive please)…

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Uhhhh, you should retitle the thread and its pretty much known...
If you look in movies the hero is a HERO and he gets the girls because he is a HERO not because he is a wuss (and he is not). No one ever told me that i should be nice to girls to get them, i thought that if a was nice to some one he will be nice to me. Sadly, it doesn't go like that.

And sure there is diffrence but what is your point? It's a known thing not to ask advice from women.

Ok mate, it wasn't neccessarily about asking them for advice, more about how some girls don't even know what type of guy that they want until they meet them... thanks anyhow, the best way to get good is to receive criticism (constructive of course) in my opinion :)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Oh, girls can fantasize about their "ideal qualities in a man" all they want, but when it comes down to it, girls don't go out looking for those specific qualities. Almost all the girls I know (myself included) don't have set criteria for men they're attracted to; instead it's a matter of whether or not they "click".

(I'm talking about relationships here, not random fvcking.)

Case in point: if I had pinpointed exactly what I wanted my ideal guy to be, my current boyfriend would blow all that out of the water. He's nothing like I would've been "looking for". We are complete opposites and there are qualities in him that I wouldn't initially look for, but build his character and persona. But the moment we first spoke, we "clicked", there was an automatic connection, our personalities bounced off of each other well. So no, as a girl I can say that I didn't know what kind of guy I wanted until I met him.

Besides, having set criteria really narrows down your opportunities and you can miss out on a lot of great people who you might end up liking better.
