funny, but let me take it further..

5th Element. They had a scanner that could identify aliens. They had a bomb detector on board of the paradise cruise ship. Etc, etc, etc.. We are certainly coming closer to science fiction than ever before.

Now what kind of change would you like? What kind of future would you like to live in? What kind of future would you want your kids to live in? Do you want a planet filled with sky scrapers and cars zooming around, a cubical for an apartment, and your entire life dedicated to making enough to afford rent? Perhaps your entire life documented in a database, with police always watching your every move, super computer analyzing your life and mailing you a bill each month? or..
