A woman in her 40's wishing for men "her equal" still has a delusional standard.... FOR RMV. This is something women never seem to comprehend. The only way you can ever date and marry your equal is... in college. And if you are lucky enough, your workplace. That's it. Outside of these places, your chances of meeting "your equal" dwindles to bottom barrel levels.
Men who got their **** together in their 40's are in TOP DEMAND from women in their 30's. Unless she's a supermodel or something, 40's women will get decimated by 30's women by sheer numbers alone...They are younger (relatively to 40s), far more competitive, and are comparatively less jaded than 40's women, and guess what, our current culture produces excess supply of single women in their 30's who are desperate to "settle down."
The only realistic chance for a 40's woman is to go for younger guys. But they don't want to be a authority figure to some young dude which means they are back to square one.
