I stayed here last time I visited the United States. In the Lobby there was the ladies room, the gentlemen´s room and there was a door that said "All genders restroom" or something like that.

Maybe its nothing new to people living in the US. You read stories and stuff online but to actually see something like this with my own eyes...I guess that was the worst part of my vacation.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Anaheim is in California. California is not representative of the United States at large.

In Texas, it is much less common to see an all genders bathroom.
