I live in the south. North Carolina to be exact. Lots of fly honeys around here, they are very friendly and the ratios are good. I don't live in a hicktown though, I live in Raleigh. I can vouch for this area having LOTS of talent. Charlotte is even better. The best decision I ever made in my life was to move here.

There are other places in this country that I couldn't leave fast enough. West Virginia, Montana, those kinds of places. Of course they will be lacking in talent.

You are right. I live just across the mountains in Tennessee and it is absolute hell here except Davidson County. I've been to Charlotte and Raleigh and these places were like a dream come true to me. I didn't know places like these could ever exist. It's just hard to believe that people can change so much in a 4 hour drive. I'm just scared by the time I am financially independent, these places will have been swallowed by the Western tide.

I believe that something is going on in our society that even our community has not identified and defined yet.

I attend certain parties a few times a year, usually having to do with this or that politician retiring, their daughter's "sweet 16" parties, graduation parties and the like. I have a family member who is highly connected in political circles.

After the formal festivities the dj opens up the floor to dancing, and astonishingly the girls all herd together on the dance floor en masse, to the complete and utter exclusion of the boys, who are doing their own thing at the tables and on the sidelines. These girls literally do all these dances together, eventually doing all their moves in lock-step, and always culminating in the crowd of girls all converging into the center as tightly as is humanly possible, in essence trying to become one unit. Throughout the entire time, there is not even one male on the dance floor.

I haven't figured out what is going on with this yet but I suspect it is only a symptom of something very, very bad and far-reaching in its implications.

I don't know if this phenomenon is happening across the country, but this is the way it is every single time here in the NYC suburbs. The girls have absolutely zero interest in the boys at these functions, and again, to witness them physically converging in on themselves into a tight-knit ball of female flesh is a sight to behold. They're acting out something which seems to me represents a radical shift in herd-think.

Girls like to dance and feel good they know it's ok to be silly. Guys are worried that they will be called gay if they go out on the dance floor. I have never been to a dance/party (I am 32) where guys just go up to the girls like it is no big deal.

Atom, I've seen that. No sane guy is gonna go up to a group of girls like that only to be most likely shot down in front of everyone, get giggled at, and be called "creepy". It is the result of females having power to talk to men in any way they please without shame or fear. They don't care. Nothing bad will come of it. They deserve only the best! Pfft, they haven't even added him to Facebook yet! What if he has only 23 friends?

Not to mention in NYC...the female attitude capital of the world!

Yessir. I'm from a redneck town in the hills of Virginia. A lot of my friends stayed behind, and are completely content with their "lives". They drop 400 dollars a night on nasty inbred strippers in West Virginia. LOCATION is so important. I've lived all over the country, and the big cities of the south are my favorite places. NC, SC and Georgia are great. Miss. and Alabama, not so much thanks to the obesity epidemic.

Raleigh is changing quite a bit thanks to the yankee influx, but you will find that the southerners and Yankees don't mix all that well. You still need game here, of course, but the talent pool that is available makes that a pleasant prospect.

Tennessee is nice in places.... Nashville is full of some honeys...I've been inclined towards southern belle's anyways, after having to bang all those nasty "jersey shore" types in college.

Sirfratsalot, if you do decide to move here send me a pm. I can give you some pointers on the job market. It's tricky here, but there's a way in if done correctly. So many people want to live here, and because of all the college grads, the job market is that much more competitive.

On another note, it's true what everyone says about dancing groups of girls. Big fat waste of time. It's why I've started taking salsa lessons. Very few guys in my area salsa, and lots of girls go out and there's not enough dance partners to go around. I avoid retarded top 40 nights at the clubs like the plague. Different genres of dance open doors!
