"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

My god, it all makes sense now.

I was out drinking with some chick I know (OUaT she was interested, but I got a little too trashed, f-ed it up, and got LJBFed, oh well), and she was still trying to tell me how "cute" I am. Cute with a "but".

"You're so cute. I mean, you have all these cute features (... rambles on for a while..), BUT, you're this big, scary guy (goes on again about how intimidating I am...).".

This clears things up, like. Girls (pretty much everybody), are either always getting out of my way, doing their best to avoid me, or telling me how "adorable" I am. ("You're so cute!", "You have the cutest baby face!", "You're like a big teddy bear!", blah blah).

It's like, whenever I get intimate like with a girl, it always gets so far, then they get kinda weirded out and say no. Is it that I look like a little kid, and they can't take me seriously, or are they afraid of me? Or both?

What the hell can I do to change this? It's not my clothes. I can wear anything and make it work (I had to do some modeling when I was a little kid. My face goes with everything.), and girls usually compliment me on my style. Should I try making myself look more thug like, or should I quit the powerlifting thing and start eating like a normal human being?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
