"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

When you meet a new girl with high interest these days they tend to blow up your phone with a lot of text messages. 75 or 100 messages in the first 24 hours of talking is not uncommon.

However, it's more dangerous than the traditional phone call because it's all in writing, and unlike email, you don't get to complete paragraphs or tell stories easily. The messages get crossed up sometimes,as photos are delayed. But like email, you can't convey tone or sarcasm easily, and things are often misunderstood, especially with someone who is not speaking their first language.

We need to be extra careful in that situation.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Texting is both the boon and the bane of our generation. Convenient, quick, and non-confrontational; but also impersonal, easily misinterpreted, and easy to ignore.

as much as I dislike it, one has to learn what works and what doesn't. Once you figure out how to keep them on the hook, it isn't so bad. General rule of thumb is to keep texting just to setting up meetings. Anything else is asking for a let down. Occasional banter isn't too bad just as long as you are driving..

Cell phones are about the worst invention mankind has given to women. Women are natural Attention Wh0res and instant access to these attention-demanding gadgets only feeds their cravings. But it's not just about craving attention, the real trouble is their own insecurity, and HBs often are the most insecure ones around. The more they use their cell phones, the worse they tend to be. Too bad, plenty of guys love to feed and encourage HBs attention cravings. Then, it becomes expected of the rest of us.
Use the phone to set up the next meeting, and use texting to set up the next phone call.

At the airport I observed how every single female is just obsessed with their phone. It might as well be a vanity mirror. When you observe the intensity of their fixation along with the insignifance of their activity (seeing who likes what on FB), it's just sad. In the old days she'd be holding a spatula or needle points and creating something with her time. Today's women create nothing.

It's almost inevitable you will say the wrong thing at some point to a new girl, because what makes one laugh offends the other. When that happens, I find that if you just stop responding and wait until they re-initiate it's usually fine.

I like to type messages and then just delete them. Never press send. You still feel as if you said what you had to say.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Tonight I just called the girl I met last Friday, and met for lunch Monday, for the first time. I left a message as she didn't answer and a few minutes later got a text asking if I just called her. You see the missed call don't you?! I responded with 'yeah, do you not do phone calls?' And ah responded that she was at dinner and apologized. She's texted me a bunch since we've met and I do keep my responses minimal and don't get carried away in meaningless texting as I want to save convo for when we see each other. I just found that rather odd...
