"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Just thought I'd rant a little here, the other night my ex called me a "womanizer". The implication is I just bang girls and dump them without concern for their feelings which is pure BS.

It got me to thinking: ever notice how ANY man who is popular with women is called a "womanizer" by our screwed up feminist society? Seems to me it's a smear term used to denigrate men who get a lot of tail.

Now I'll admit, deceiving women, banging them and dumping them w/o even a phone call, etc. is not good behaviour. But this little term "womanizer" is being applied to many decent guys (I consider myself one) who refuse to commit to one woman unless we find what we're looking for in terms of looks, values, etc.

Pretty annoying. Anyone else notice this, or has been called this?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You could call them "menizers" but I just don't think it would catch on. The term "womanizer" actually means "one who brings out womanly qualities in women".

Like any other feminine social contrivance, the term "womanizer" is exclusively owned by women. So too is the term "double standard" assumed to be associated with the feminine. Each of these terms socially implies female victimhood and like all 'gender owned' terminology all one need do is reverse the gender to see it's effect. For instance, when was the last time you heard a woman refered to as a "manizer?" Probably never. When was the last time you heard a man complain of a "double standard" that apllied to himself? Even if you did, our first impression is to tell the guy to grow a pair and "put up or shut up", how many women calling the "double standard" foul would be made to feel the same way?

These terms are social contrivances with the latent purpose of subtley and incrementally puting women in the position of sexual selector, but really only aggrivate their own conditions by shaming men into feeling they have something to atone and placing them in a position of savior. This terminology ultimately serves neither sex.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I think this word has more worth today than ever.

lovertine

It's such a beautiful word. And it's the female equivalent of "womanizer". Unfortunately, it's such an old and underused word that the original connotation and definition seems to have been blurred by modern translation. You'll find it meaning "a person who is addicted to lovemaking". That's not quite correct, nymphomaniacs are addicted to lovemaking. A lovertine, on the other hand, is "addicted to romance" or "addicted to attention/affection".

So far as I've found, "lovertine" was ye olde word for "attention wh0re", but was stetched and twisted to imply "slvtty" in general.

But, before "womanizer" was popular to use, I think "charlatan" (fake, fraudulent, underhanded) was used. The volley for that era would have been "harlot", perhaps even "hussy" or "trollop".

Anyway, the beauty of "lovertine" is that you can call a woman a slvt right to her face when she calls you a womanizer, and she'll be oblivious.

But, RT's right, name calling isn't nice.

As squirrels said, your X is jealous, so, in your case, "womanizer" is a good thing; be happy about that. Otherwise, yes, a contrivance by the un-fairer sex. This is funny, as just today, I made sure to note to a woman I'm seeing that I received several presents from another woman today. I left out all details of why I received them. She called me a wh*re.

As we all know by now, it just makes 'em want you more.

Anytime a woman calls you a "Jerk", a "Bastard", or a "Womanizer" take that as a sign that you're doing things 100% correctly. It's a badge of honor and social proof, wear it well.

Aint that the truth.

I also like to add that it is better to be refered to as an a55hole then being refered to as a nice guy.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Pretty good read for those who have a moral dilemma with "womanizing".

Honestly...look at it this way. You're showing them a good time. Regardless of whether they have other expectations that you're meeting or not meeting after the fact, you can't fault yourself for showing the ladies a good time. There's nothing sinister in that.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
