I call you friend because we are of the same cast. If face to face we would sense a special kinship between us. You are unique for you have taken unusual steps to find what you have in front of you here. No one told you to make this journey. You made it on your own accord, listening to the still small Voice within.

To enter this new life, however, you must take the first step. Cease worrying about who you were and who you may someday become. BURY THE PAST, and TRUST NOT THE FUTURE. Stay Here. Rarely will you meet someone who is Here. Most are sadly lost to regrets about the past and fears of the future.

Only by staying Here can you ever Change. When you ask the question "How?" realize that Now is ALWAYS the answer.

You are being given the Secret Key which opens the Door of all Doors. No we're not talking about Jim Morrison here. Behind this Door is all you can imagine yet much more than you are capable of imagining.

From this day forth your life is changed. Discovering this letter, you will forever know that the Door exists. The small Voice within nudges you towards the Door. Knowing that there is something missing in your life. That something, is behind the Door. But here lies the mystery, the timeless paradox. To enter the Door you must LOSE YOURSELF. On the other side of the Door you will live from a new perspective, a higher vantage point.

No longer will Doubt, Confusion or Fear darken your spirits. You will live from TRUE CONFIDENCE.

THE SECRET

Your mind is not the friend that you believe it to be. It is a mere machine that tosses out thoughts incessantly, mechanically. Much like your heart beating and pumping, your mind never stops throwing out thoughts. But you are NOT your mind, nor its mixed thoughts and emotions. Your mind cannot open the Door. If it could, it would have done so already. To do this you must remove yourself from your own thoughts. Allow me to explain what must only seem inexplainable.

At any moment you can be in only one of two places mentally. You are either immersed in your thoughts, or separate from them.
As incredible an instrument your mind is, it cannot lift you above what it knows. And you have Divine Instruction to transcend what you know, but your mind cannot perform this miracle. You must take a leap of faith. Leave your thoughts behind.

You, as most do, live from your mind - from thoughts and emotions. This is like living on a billiard table or in a rushing river. As active and violent as these places are, they are mesmerizing and hypnotic. Living from Thought is a form of Sleep.
To remove yourself from this hypnotic slumber, simply WAKE UP.

Where are your hands now? Are they relaxed or tense? Do you know the expression on your face? Is your brow furrowed and tight? What is the temperature of the air around you? Where are your feet? What supports your body right now? How is your weight distributed? What are you thinking about? This awareness of yourself amid your surroundings is NOW. In this attentive state your are separate from your thoughts. You "watch" yourself reading the words in front of you, witnessing the thoughts and sensations coursing through you.

Becoming AWAKE lifts you out of the rushing river of Doubt, Fear, Anxiety, Worry and Anger. Your Attention places you on a bridge above the raging river. You still see the chaos below but you are not a part of it. You are an impartial observer. It is from this state that something higher can communicate with you. To do this, AWAKE to this attentive state. RETURN to NOW.

Rarely will you meet a person who is in the NOW state. Most are forever lost to thought and emotion. The Secret of NOW places you at the Door.

Can you take this leap of faith? YES!

Be as vigilant as you can. Observe yourself as often as you can remember. A thousand times a day. Observe the numerous states you enter and exit each day. Inquire of yourself, "Who is this that is angry? doubtful? afraid? depressed? excited?" It is NOT you. It is your mind using you!

When you do this long enough you will become a New person. You will begin to think and act in a different manner. The demon FEAR will retreat. You will take directions and make decisions that before you only thought were impossible. In this way you will PASS THROUGH SOLID BRICK WALLS that before you avoided. Now you will "SEEK the IMPOSSIBLE" knowing that it is the very doorway out!

Always remember that whatever appears to be a solid brick wall is a mere illusion created by the rushing river of thought created by your mind. The only way to banish this illusion is to proceed THROUGH it one step at a time. WATCHING your FEAR the whole way. In this way you will know from yourself that it was all an illusion.

Come back to yourself. A thousand times a day. Come back to yourself. Come back to NOW.

As your thoughts and feelings attempt to confuse and frustrate you, AWAKEN. Watch these demons. They will pass. You are viewing them from a higher place now. Do not jump back into the raging river, simply observe from above.

Notice others from this watchful state. They live immersed in thought as you once did. They are tugged and tousled from one moment to the next by their emotions. You begin to notice all the states your mind pulls you through. Return from these thoughts. Return to NOW. NOW cannot be pushed around. In this state you are solid ground.

Do not struggle to understand the thoughts you are having. Only OBSERVE. Treat your thoughts as outsiders and intruders. Say to yourself "Oh look at that angry thought" or "Look at that fearful thought". Become the uninvolved bystander.

Before you only knew how to delve into your thoughts for the answers you seek. You found no answers there but your mind conjured up projections based on what you already knew. Those are past dead thoughts. BURY THE PAST. This is all your mind can produce. It does not know the answers you require. NOW knows. Quit turning to your thoughts for answers, they have none. If they did why would you be here searching. If thought held the answers you require why would you be questioning.

When you do not know what to do, return to NOW. NOW knows. Wait there and what you need will come to you. Your mind will protest. Thoughts like "Get to work", "Quit wasting time" and so on and so on. Tricks of your mind. Watch your thoughts and wait for the true answers to come from NOW. You cannot hear those answers in your "normal" state of mind.

Notice how right now - your mind is clamoring. "This is nonsense" , "How could this be?", "This is wrong". Your mind doesn't like being the target of all this attention. It doesn't like the fact that you are being told not to trust it.

You are no longer Listening to your mind. Only Watching. You are now Listening to the small Voice within that attempts to lead you to something that your are not. Something Greater than Yourself.
Listen to that small Voice leading you to the Door, leading you to NOW.

Give NOW this chance and see for yourself. Whatever question you have, put it to NOW. NOW is the way.

Take this first step, no more, no less, the next step will be revealed.

Do this NOW.

That's true, at the times when I'm at peace with myself I notice answers quickly appear. It's like the answers were always there but I couldn't make use of it since my focus was else where.

That's an incredible tip. Did you write it or was it a copy and paste?

Meditation. This is meditation. I urge people to become aware of themselves. Seperate your mind, and you seperate the constant logical loophole. You stop creating pain for yourself and others.

yes! i meditate all the time. It clears your mind. And if you meditate for long enough without falling asleep..... you might even have an astral projection (out of body experience) or see images that start to form under those closed eyelids; this is called focused awareness. Traveling to an astral plane: the dimension where all thought exists. Everyone's thoughts exists in this dimension on planes. Its where your consciousness goes when you sleep and have a dream.

Meditating is acheiving a different mindstate. By LETTING GO. Letting go of everything. Let go of all your physcial perceptions and just relax. Clear your head and enjoy the peacefulness of quiet time. Its rejuvenating. Work on quieting the mind and just imagine yourself spinning into nothingness. Quiet the mind. Feel at peace with your mind.

Trust me this works.

Meditate for about 20 minutes a day and you will see that it really affects you in as much as 2 weeks more or less.

This isn't meditation.

This is something you do every moment of the day.

No astral projection here, although it sounds interesting.

This has nothing to do with sitting down for 20 mins a day, closing your eyes and relaxing trying to travel to other dimensions.

Although I've never tried meditation this is definately not what I'm getting at with this post.

THIS is about not letting your mind's thoughts and emotions take you for a rollercoaster ride.

Eg. Have you ever tried public speaking? If you have, the first time you did you probably were quite nervous. Well that is your mind making you feel afraid. You sweat, your leg twitches, your voice cracks and you feel uncomfortable.

Well your mind is playing tricks on you. Was there anything to fear? NO. And when you were finished and feeling relieved you thought "Well that wasn't so bad after all".

The FEAR was an illusion created by the rushing river of thought created by your mind.

I'm sure this is the same FEAR many feel when approaching a hot babe.

This method teaches you to "watch" your thoughts rather than listen to them. To achieve an Attentive "NOW" state of mind. You do this throughout every waking moment, not just for short meditation sessions.

There is nothing difficult to understand here. You may be reading too much into it.

Re-read the post a few times I'm sure it will make sense to you. If not ask me more :)

oh...... well I got the idea that it was meditation by that Lo Hung Wang guy.

Meditation really is just quieting your mind and feeling at peace with your mind and your life. Its clearing your mind from all the anxieties you have in your mind or negative thoughts you have in your mind.

You don't have to astral project, that is for more skilled people and people that want to be more spiritual.

Meditation just gets you feeling good and its rejuvinating.
