haven't you ever heard girls can't read maps? i can't be walking around town with a townmap all spread out trying to get girls like that, it's a little desperate. in big tourist cities this failed more than half the time. the concept is decent as it's a low risk opener but simplify. direct the conversation into partying and having fun...say something like "my friends don't know anywhere to go since we're from x. do u know any good spots for tonight?" usually if u talk about parties and you're being a cool guy they should be ok to give the number at least, for me. i think having a friend with you that is down to have some fun really helps you can have a secured double date by getting them in the mood and in the moment. or just something else indirect to close on like i remember doing this once (opening with asking directions) and instead i talked about how i wanted to learn the language and told her that she can help me practice and my schooll was really beautiful she ended up coming over. i got ljbf'd because i ended up all over her..but with some attraction escalation stuff i learned from mystery method i managed to escalate push/pull and kino up to a bold kiss close in isolation. never really had a girl grab my ass like that b4 but she was hooked for sure. kept up the kissing and isolation and a few weeks later we ****ed. so yea you can have success asking directions for an opener on random strangers. having a little notebook on you is not a bad idea, most people probably use their cellphones, but have it so she has ur number too cuz good chance she might end up calling you or she'll know it's you at least. there are infinite possibilities but all this with no attraction is no good. i myself am learning on the side to go the friends route and breaking it down that way but i can tell it could take a bit of time! not necessarily a bad thing could just be a matter of preference in what you want the interaction to be.

Well, it's a bit different here. Initially when opening a girl, you should approach them while NOT conveying interest. Because the moment you are conveying interest to the girl DURING the approach, she'll raise her defenses as she wants to protect herself.

This is where the openers come in. Openers usually tend to be casual, something that anyone could ask them. Depending on the situation you are in, you could add in a false-time constraint to the opener, which demonstrates you're about to leave(which you are not because you're trying to hit up the girl).

All this does is prevent the girl from interpreting your behavior as hitting on her, so she'll be more relaxed and less alert to your intentions. This will make it easier to flirt with her, score her number and then ask her out.

So yes, I do ask girls out, but when I'm approaching girls, I try to make it look as if I'm not interested in her.

indirection is just 1 strategy. it is based on a psychological understanding that obvious intentions bring resistance. if you apply it in seduction, let's say you just keep on being friends with her she's going to eventually think "why isn't this guy hitting on me?" thus she's going to be less resistant and even might try to chase you a little bit. you're bringing up a good point, what if I ask her her number? isn't that hitting on her? isn't that being interested? perhaps... so you see it's like a game of making her believe that it's not like that until she gets gradually aware of your presence then if u ask for her number she will be a little less resistant because she knows you a little more and will be willing to go further in the interaction because you guys are friends. it's kind of like blowing smoke up in the air so she won't see that you really want to **** the **** out of her. you'll notice that yea it could be interpreted that way and bring resistance that is if her frame is stronger, that frame of mind exist because she is probably really attractive she gets a lot of validation from people like that so she can effectively spot out who's into her. that's why it is important that your frame of mind is that you are doing the choosing, and that she's trying to win you over. that is having a strong frame. girls are attracted to guys that have a stronger frame. that's why you can do things such as hit on her like let's say "you're cute"...and still effectively get her to give you her number.

Also, I prefer to get girls with the fur vact that I have personality, instead of using manipulation.
