Way of the Peaceful Warrior is a story about "Dan" who thinks he is smart, intelligent and mature until he meets Socrates, as he calls him. He comes to know himself and life through his talks and journeys with Socrates.
Sometimes it takes ALOT of repeating of something to ingrain it OVER what existed before. This would be the Path of Mastery. No Real Estate program makes you rich; well off maybe, and not without diligent persistence. No health program truly achieves your goals in 12 weeks, maybe 20, maybe a year, without diligent persistence. As Sifer told me via AIM and how he began in RE, it's just persistence. If you want it, get it. Don't stop. That alone is positive. Someone throws a mountain in front of you, go over it. Go through it. Be the juggernaut, bytch!
The recommended books only UNLOCK the potential, they don't GIVE you anything. Just like Rich Dad Poor Dad, or anything else. We're not accessorizing YOU, we're UNLOCKing what has always been there. That should make you feel good just to know it's YOU.

My experinces in the past 3 weeks since I saw the Secret.
As I said in an earlier post, this movie is life - changing, I can verify that and this is only the begining for me! I'll be downloading that torrent when this month ends ( as my bandwich is running low I feel ) for the purpose of burning it to DVD as I can't do that to a Gvi file ( google video ) without converting it to an 100+gb uncompressed avi file first! ( I don't have that space! )
Anyways, I've had some interesting experinces in the past few weeks. The women related one firstly. I visualised myself being with some by ' summer's end ' , going far as doing out some drawings of such a scene. While there has being no kisses.... YET. What has happened is that all of a sudden, I have become aware that quite a few girls like me that way, sending signs such as looking at me as they pass and such. ( I mean deliberate 3 - 5 second stares ) , I've also discovered that I'm becoming a bit bolder in my effots as well, more willing to bite the bullet and take the risk. I've also let go of caring if any girlfriend sees my family drinking, as it was actually preventing me from making advances in the first place! Its after starting making me think that I am a lady killer and to qoute from the film ' Your wish is my command! '
Last week I needed a new pair of shoes, as my other ones had gotten a hole in them. I was willing to get them out of the small amount I get from my parents ( I don't have a job, its actually very difficult to get a job here, all the forgien people have taken them! ) and possibly sacrifiece going out. BUT on Saturday, I was given more than usual and was hence, able to aford the new pair of shoes and still be able to go out!
What I loved about the Law of Attraction is that well, it is so simple to actually apply it to your life! Its not the like anything else I've read or seen. Where the ideas are difficult to apply and where the inspiration fades ( Like Pook's writings here ) because you find no where to apply to your life. With the Secret, though, you already have it by default, all that you need is something ( like this film ) to tell that its there and is your loyal servant and only brings you what you wish or feel. It could be the greatest gift or your greatest enemy, it is up to you how you use it. However once you become aware of it, it really is life changing!
Also, I'm a member of the fourms connected to the Secret and they say there that the Universe will send you signals, signs or omens to tell that your wish is on your way and that your on the right path! In my case, I have bumped into people I know and being able to talk to them for at 5 minutes almost every day since I started applying the LOA when before it would happen less often as you would guess.
Just my experince, I say others have had similar experinces to mine, though.

Even though most people haven't read the whole bible, here is a portion of it where the emphasis is in thanks giving to God.

One thing I noticed about online gaming, after watching the secret. I realized there is alot of negativity, ALOT of Negativity in any arena online, such as day of defeat, counterstrike, battlefield 2, or any other similar game. When I applied these concepts.. man you won't believe the results. You just have to try it..

1. your focus determines your reality. your world does NOT change. it is as it has always been. but you see things in the world that you're looking for. this is why it does not pay to be pessimistic. it is NOT that the world is more in line with your world view. rather, it is that the negative things are the only things you will see because you're mind is looking for it.
ever have the experience of getting really into some topic and all of sudden, you start seeing it everywhere, magazines, tv, people talking, etc. i used to think that it was something like magic and that i was favored of god or something.... but nope, it's just that i was noticing what i was looking for.
in this way, the biblical, "seek and you shall find. ask and it shall be given you." end up NOT BEING PROMISES but a DESCRIPTION of how the mind works.
2. all the positive belief in the world will not likely get you far if you are alone against the elements or the inanimate. for example, no matter how positively you think, you're no more likely to win the lotto than a pessimist.
positive thinking works because YOUR DEMEANOR CHANGES and OTHERS SEE IT and respond in kind. creates a little feedback loop where a little positive gets affirmed by the world which in turn makes you more positive, etc.
THE BIG TICKET life changes promised by positive thinking is a result of most of our lives being social.
3. positive thinking is also ENABLING. negativity is DISABLING and paralyzing. and if you're stuck in a pit, sulkinig just won't get you out. so that's the other aspect.
4. related to above - your mind is like an iceberg. most of it is 'underwater' subconscious and it is this that is the most substantive... not the flitting everyday thoughts of waking life. if you can somehow 'reprogram' the stuff underwater, it makes a huge effect on where the tiptop ends up going.

It's also the same spirt running through much of the self-help/self-improvement books today, which espouse BELIEVING first in ACHIEVING the things you want THEN you are given what tools to achieve what it is you want.
I've posted MORE than enough threads on how, even before CONSCIOUS knowledge of what the LAW of ATTRACTION is.
I feel I've always manifested the girl I wanted. Always. No questions. And I waited until I found her, dating and dating until I had her once again. And if she wasn't the right one, then I kept going.
The same applies with LOA. If you want a New job, put it out there. Belive you will get it, and thereby, take actions that will also move you toward it quicker. Tell people what you want. Talk about it. Write it down. Think about it. Envision HOW you'll perform. Play it out in your mind. Study what it's about. Figure out who has that job. Where it's at. What your life would be like.
At every moment you ARE attracting, you're just not attracting the things you want THEREBY compounding what you don't want, OR do want. If you're up in the air about how you want to live, the things you want to accomplish, then OBVIOUSLY, you're really going to have nothing going on. Likewise, if you're complaining about your lack of girls, social life, or friends, OBVIOUSLY you're not making anything happen, and are acting in a REACTIONARY manner, instead of a manner of POSITIVE expectation on bringing the right things about.
People who are overtly aggressive have a belief system that believes the universe has only a FIXED amount of resources, therefore they fight to get their cut. It's the same mentality of having ONS. You believe that there's ONLY one. That someone better COULD not possibly come along. But how untrue is that?? You know it's true. And start by imaging a BETTER version of the girl you currently wanted, and are now replacing. Is this making sense?
I'm sure it ties into Christianity, but I'm not a devote-anything at the moment. It's more of a NATURAL/UNIVERSAL law than a religion-specific one. Glad it's passing to people via the net.

After watching this movie 5 times and watching the coversation based around it on here I came to an idea. In the movie it says believe that you will get it and feel what it's like having it, so I am going to keep a journal in present tense about my life having all these things. It will be like any other daily journal except it will be my imagination writing down what I want and feeling like I did it that day. What ya think? I'll tell ya how it goes.

To clarify.
It works in the sense for you if you believe. And against you if you don't. Much of the negativity or naysaying I hear comes from the fact people see it as new age material, and just something everybody should jump on. Their own negation of such potential BRINGS to them the EXACT reality they believe. And consequently someone who DOES believe will also get what they want, too. It all works out as you believe it will...

For me, it was a slam dunk of confirmations of my own life's experience.
I've always attracted the precise girl I wanted at the time I wanted her. It wasn't like she waltzed into my apartment. Instead, I was out doing things. Lifting. Meeting girls. On dates. An eventually, one of those times, I'd get EXACTLY what I was looking for. But because I was open to it, new exactly what I wanted, I received it.
You can't sit at home and expect to get it. What you do is confidently and positively work toward what you want. And if you're not, then clearly you don't want it badly enough, your emotions aren't in alignment with it strong enough, and it won't come to you. A person who wants something bad enough, passionately enough, will hope into the line and get it. They know it will surface in anyway possible, they know precisely what they want, but they leave the HOW up to the universe, to he LOA.
How many stories does Napolean Hill site about that? In the first few pages alone, maybe 5 out of 5 stories? Perhaps more?

I've attracted all the women I've met or dated.
I've attracted the type of friends I have.
I've attracted my financial situations, good or bad.
I never really wrote down what I wanted, I would just envision it day in, and day out. And when you're jumbled, and feel you're attacting nothing, you're right. Because you don't know what you want, you get whatever minimal things you attract. When you specifically know what you want, you'll find a way to get it and attract it QUICKER.

It works in the sense for you if you believe. And against you if you don't. Much of the negativity or naysaying I hear comes from the fact people see it as new age material, and just something everybody should jump on. Their own negation of such potential BRINGS to them the EXACT reality they believe. And consequently someone who DOES believe will also get what they want, too. It all works out as you believe it will...

For me, it was a slam dunk of confirmations of my own life's experience.
I've always attracted the precise girl I wanted at the time I wanted her. It wasn't like she waltzed into my apartment. Instead, I was out doing things. Lifting. Meeting girls. On dates. An eventually, one of those times, I'd get EXACTLY what I was looking for. But because I was open to it, new exactly what I wanted, I received it.
You can't sit at home and expect to get it. What you do is confidently and positively work toward what you want. And if you're not, then clearly you don't want it badly enough, your emotions aren't in alignment with it strong enough, and it won't come to you. A person who wants something bad enough, passionately enough, will hope into the line and get it. They know it will surface in anyway possible, they know precisely what they want, but they leave the HOW up to the universe, to he LOA.
How many stories does Napolean Hill site about that? In the first few pages alone, maybe 5 out of 5 stories? Perhaps more?

I attracted my car.
I've attracted all the women I've met or dated.
I've attracted the type of friends I have.
I've attracted my financial situations, good or bad.
I never really wrote down what I wanted, I would just envision it day in, and day out. And when you're jumbled, and feel you're attacting nothing, you're right. Because you don't know what you want, you get whatever minimal things you attract. When you specifically know what you want, you'll find a way to get it and attract it QUICKER.
