Master Don Juan
Mehh Gowd! Did he just say...s-s-s-cience? Eugh, science is ****ing dull!
The whole Don Juan thing produces a bit of a contradiction, a conflict in the idea. A seemingly innate flaw in it's design.
On one hand, you should do what you want to do. Live life for yourself and so on, but on the other hand you are supposed to do what we, a bunch of guys (and the occasional girl) say is best for you. Sure, that's a bit reductionist, I've boiled it down to it's bare bones, but this is something that needs to be resolved.
And I'm going to try and do this with science...
I have increasingly grown to believe that "Don Juan"ness is no more a mindset and an understanding of how the world works and how to play it, than it is a chemical makeup.
Perhaps this will help some of the newer guys here focus their efforts more, perhaps it will give others something to think about, maybe even a new direction...
Some things are innately "Don Juan"-y. Like success, enjoying life, getting pvssy. Some things aren't, like computer games, crying in the corner, and ass kissing. But let's hold up their for a second. If we're telling people to do what they want to do, how can we on the other hand tell them not to do this stuff?
Enter science. Why do we advocate exercise, weight lifting, playing contact sports? It's our good old friend testosterone. You all know this stuff, but that fun hormone of masculinity is found more when you work out. Simple as that.
What else? Well getting off your ass and working out lowers the amount of fat insulating your inner organs, i.e. it cuts the rolls, you fat ****. Not just that but it lowers cholesterol and strengthens muscles all around the body, including heart and lungs.
Hence why drug abuse is frowned upon. Sure, drink and have a J at a party, but when you're doing it everyday a topping it off with a packet of smokes, and a snort of angel dust (just for effect) there's a problem.
But then what about the mindset? Confidence, self-worth, independence, character and charisma. Why promote these things when you should be out promoting what you want to promote? Well, these things change the way you think because of neurochemicals. When you start creating these characteristics inside yourself, you are in essence re-wireing your neurological makeup. You are increasing endorphin (happy chemical!) count, and possibly lowering adrenalin and noradrenalin levels for everyday life, so you're calmer, more relaxed. By implementing the stuff here you are re-calibrating your whole body.
But why do this? The Don Juan mentality is a healthy mentality. By doing the stuff it says in these pages, you make yourself a healthier person, not just physically, but psychologically too.
Why's that? It's because shyness, insecurity, unhappiness, low self worth, frustration, dependance, LIVING A LIFE THAT NO ONE REMEMBERS, NOT EVEN YOU, WHERE YOU LIVE AND YOU DIE AND DO NOT LEARN OR FEEL OR UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS TO BE ALIVE IS A GODDAMN DISEASE. It's a social, physical, and mental disease.
But perhaps disease is not the best way of putting it. It's a disease in the same way that obesity is a disease. I love the way people talk about fattness like you can catch it! No. Being unhappy with life is something you do to yourself. It's something you sort out.
But why be healthy, is that what you want? Well yes, actually. See, doing the stuff here doesn't get you a great life. We're not on an exchange system here people. What it does do is put you in a better position to "get life". If before you were experiencing life as if through a dirty mirror, you end up seeing it as it really is.
Sidestepping a huge debate about the nature of reality, would you expect a crazy person to know how the world works? Would you ask a blind person what it looks like? A deaf person how it sounds? No. Would you ask a shy, insecure, self-pittying man with this inhibiting mental virus what fun is? Would you ask him how to live life?
No. You want to have a good life? The life that you know you deserve? Then a good way, no- a great way to do that would be to follow the stuff here, because after you sort yourself out, you'll be able to make the right decisions, and do what you really want to do.
