"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I’ve noticed time and time again, once you drop a gf hard (and according to her, out of nowhere) she eventually emerges victorioulsy with some poor AFC in her jaws, usually singing odes to the nice guy even though it’s you they want more than anything else. They will still try and make you jealous, will still try and make you chase, so she can get some validation - and you know why. Women are far worse at dealing with rejection than men. Use that to your advantage. An ex that's in a relationship with an AFC, while still having feelings for you, can be easily turned into a FWB. The secrecy of it will add extra tingles.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Excellent post.

Also.. there is nothing more powerful than NC (No Contact). It is truly the atomic bomb of the dating world. Anytime you can't get a woman to act right, NC will pull the rug out from under her feet and devastate her.

Some men are afraid of looking "butt hurt" but that is a load of crap. Whining, b!tching and arguing with a woman is "butt hurt". Ignoring her existence is REJECTION. And its devastating to women (even if they don't like you).

It attacks the 4 main core weaknesses of the modern female:

1. Her need for validation
2. Her need for control (access to you when she wants it)
3. Her need to "know stuff" (ever wonder why women always want to know where you are and what you're doing?)
4. Her need for a happy ending or "closure" (Walking away on good terms and remaining "friends")

NC is the most powerful weapon a man has. Simply doing NOTHING because a girl is not worth the time and effort. The ultimate insult to a woman is.. "you are not important".

Great thread.

Was about to start a thread of my own about how women have a much much longer memory than men. Sure, we get oneitis, too, but women I think get it longer and much more strongly even if they've seemingly moved on and have their "needs met".

Recently I've run into a couple of women I disappeared on... not necessarily an intentional NC, just I had better options or wasn't that interested. I happened to run into one chick at a bar where she was celebrating her birthday. This was after about 8 months since we hooked up once. I wished her happy birthday on facebook earlier that day. Anyway, she runs up to me and is like "you remembered my birthday!" and then when I was leaving (I was perfectly OK with just leaving without saying bye) "thanks for coming."

Funny thing is, it wasn't even a sarcastic "thanks for coming." She actually was trying to convince herself that somehow I knew she'd be at this bar all the way across town and I was coming to her party.

Women are a trip.

Girl's onetis is tougher because they have to find a better man to get over it. All we have to do is find a hotter chick.
Hypergamy backfires.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
