I figgured out the real reason I'm having dating problems, it's very simple really: most people are a bunch of ****ing liars.
I'm reading a book right now called "Freakonomics: a rogue economist explores the hidden side of everything," and there is a few pages on dating websites. While these numbers I'm about to throw at you are probablly different than in real life, it's doubtful they are that much different than what the self-diluted masses actually believe.
Real-estate agents know that the typical house isn't "charming" or "fantastic," but unless you say it is, no one will even bother to take a look.
So if everyone is expecting everyone else to lie, and I don't lie then the unwashed masses will assume I am worse off then I am. Maybe I should just put "king of the fookin' world" as my job to balance things out.

So, either normal people are a bunch of liars or they are employed as real-estate agents (I vote for liars).- 57% of the users were men, and the median age range for all users was 26 to 35
- 4% of daters claimed to earn more than $200k a year, whereas fewer than 1% of typical Internet users actually earn that much
- men's report of their weight fell in line with national averages, but women typically reported they were 20lbs less than the national average
- 70% of women claimed "above average" looks, including 24% claiming "very good looks"
- the online men were almost as gorgeous at 67% "above average" and 21% "very good looking"
