The Problem With DJ Discussion Forum (Long

First off, for those that don't know me and want to know where I'm coming from(If you don't give 2 sh!ts feel free to skip to the next paragraph), I was in high school when I found this site. I had at the been LJBF'd by a few girls and was pretty lost. With some free time in the Library and a drive to suceed, I stumbled upon this site. It was absolutely brimming with useful, and more importantly, encouraging stuff. I didn't even know about the Forum but I printed out the stuff I thought would be beneficial to me and got to work. Rejection after rejection I continued to grow into something else. With my brother and cousin backing me, I evolved my game from stumbling virgin, to offensive numbers. With my inner locus of control pushing me, I became Rex Man. Then I found this forum......


First off, this forum is like the internet itself. It has the potential to educate, to encourage, to be this interactive exchange of usefull information. HOWEVER, like the net, it is mainly filled with garbage? Why is that? How could some of the same people that have access to same tools as I spit out such stupidity?? Why do people listen?

To answer this question I put myself into the shoes of a person that just jumped on the Forum. Without a compass as to who's who, what could help me to determine who knows their stuff? Posts. That is the only thing I can see to judge these posters own. It would only make sense that I give more credibility to the 'senior' right?? Wrong. Many posts don't mean anything but the person has written many posts. So a troll or an idiot that posts alot will be listened to, whereas someone who has the game down that has just joined may be shunned. THAT is the problem with this forum. If people care about this forum they will do 2 things

1) Learn the game and get it down before giving a lot of advice

2) Read the threads not the posts.

Flame me if you want, but at least recognize the truth.

I agree what you have to say 100%. I feel that we need more guys that give us on the field situations. We have too many people in here trying to flame everyones threads. They make jokes and come up with stupid oneliners.. This site has a load of bs on it. I agree

Lookyoung, That's very true. More Field Reports would definitely be welcomed. The best thing to do I've found is to ignore BS. Responses only encourage it.
