As I've always said, makeup can turn a plain girl into a movie star if done right. Most women don't do it right.

That said, the plainer a girl starts out as, the more makeup helps. I've dated some women who actually looked better without it, though they already had large eyes, full lips, etc. When they put makeup on they looked like cartoon characters.
