"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Do nothing. Say nothing. Delete her number.

What I'm basically saying is you cant do anything.

You have to let her come back to you not the other way around.

The more you try and get her back the more you gonna push her away.

Trust me I have experience with this. This is the second time she's come running back.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I agree. Never chase. If she does come back (she may or may not) you have to think to yourself "Do I really want her back?" There was a reason you broke up in the first place. That reason most likely will return.

I agree, you can't pressure her into coming back. She has to want to come back. But I was wondering, is it possible to push her too far away (during the breakup?)

I said, 'Do you want to break up?' and she went ' *silence*........I'm sorry'

I went 'Ok', started driving. Min later, said 'Well, you better just forget about me then', and she said 'Oh don't say that'. Gave no response.

Got back, she said 'I hope you can forgive me someday', I said 'Yep'. She said 'I'm sorry', and I said 'Me too'.
-----------
Wondering if that stopped her from reaching out/trying, or maybe it was best to push her away like that?

Agreed. Also what I want to add to this is be happy!

What I mean by this is, no matter how sad and miserable and depressed you feel inside DO NOT SHOW IT! This will make her stay even farther away from you. Everywhere you go, act like you're happy. Smile, laugh and be positive. This shows you dont need her and you moved on.

And on top of that, happiness is contagious-this is a fact. Once you show it people will want to be around you including your ex. While sadness on the other hand, people will treat you like you have a contagious deadly disease.

I don't think it's a matter of pushing them to far away.

In my experience they always come back if you seduced them enough. (Made them feel alot of emotion)

What I said above applies here.
It's like a win win situation. She doesn't come back? Well at least you are on the process of moving on.

Last time my gf broke up with me I told her she can go and die. And guess what she's back.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Good point. But why try and feighn emotion when you can just take a step back and be hidden from her gaze.
