The purpose of this thread is to post a particularly interesting or tricky situation when a woman tried to manipulate you in some way, and how you successfully handled it. Detailed stories that are dynamic and interesting may be most helpful.

You could also tell us how you responded to loaded and luring questions. I removed the ones I originally posted.

Some of this has been covered in other threads, but it would be good to have a consolidated thread for easy quick reference.

Please try to keep this thread focused, dynamic ad fluff free.

I had an ex girlfriend who I allowed to move into my house (the sex was amazing). In folly , I thought with my sac and not my brain which led to her absolutely trying to gain cvntrol over every aspect of my life.

Some examples:

Whenever I wanted to go out she would ball her eyes out and become deathly ill ( The sympathy attack).

If I wanted to watch a movie, a man's movie, she would give me head (the sexual manipulation to satiate me into watching goddamned Friends!).

If I wanted to invite my buddies over to MY place to play Sega she would close up and pout (more sympathy bludgeoning).

There are hundreds more but I've let them go to the back of my mind.

Sympathy attacks are among the most manipulative. Any advice here Karma on how you defended yourself or redirected her attacks. Did you finally just kick her out all together?

I wasn't aware of my own DJ-ness back then. I have always been a rather shrude cat but it wasn't until I came here and began walking my path that I realized what I had been doing was what we label as DJ MENtality.

Some of my rebuttals were rather idiosyncratic of my boy-man mentality but consisted of:

"Do whatever just suck my d!ck."

"If you're going to be b!tchy about it then I'm putting it in your butt."

"Fvck you."

"Alright, whatever just shut up."

Funny sidebar about this particular ex girlfriend. I was hanging out at her Mom's place and GF went to pickup her sister from work. We're chatting about nothing and her Mom switched the tv over to the vcr (this indicates how long ago this was) and on the tv is a chick sucking c0ck like no tomorrow!

I know what's up and pull her Mom over to me and kiss her playing itty biggy t!tty. Of course she starts fumbling with my buttonfly's and gets them off to give me one of the best oral lessons I've ever recieved. Off the hook good.

She recieves my gift and goes to the ladies room to gargle and rinse out my goo. Short while later GF and cvnt jr get there and she can smell it.

She knows.

Something happened but we ain't talking. Never said a word UNTIL I came home from vacation in CT to find half my sh!t gone.

Then, I told her Dad (that's where she moved back with MY stuff) that if I didn't have all of my things back at my house within two hours, his neighbors and everyone at his church would have glossy 5x7's of his beloved eldest daughter taking acupuncture up her dirtchute with my beef injection and
8x10's of her giving me mouth to meatwhistle rescucitation.

After about an hour and a half they roll in to my yard and all of my stuff has been replaced where it had been taken.

Just goes to show that it certainly does pay to keep something from every relationship in your back pocket. There will ulitmately come a rainy day in EVERY relationship.

Interesting postscrip to the ex GF; After my things were back and they were leaving is when I sprung it on them both that every time they had kissed thier Mom/Wife they had sucked my d!ck by-proxy!

"Have a great life." were the last words I uttered to them both.

Not the last time I had fvcked her Mom though .

These types of questions are either manipulation, or insecurity. If it's insecurity, she's looking to you, as a man, for strength.

There's any easy way to find this out. My response is usually..

I'll look her in the eye, give a little knowingly smile, and say in a teasing manner..

"Do you honestly want me to answer that question?"

If she gets pissed or starts a verbal attack on you, it's manipulation. If she gets insecure, she may actually be sincerely insecure.

Either way, it's best to let her know early on that those types of questions, unless sincere, are not good ways to get your undivided attention.

Many "manipulations" are kind of lightweight and not worth getting your brain twisted over. They are harmless even though they may get on your nerves. I just ignore that shyte or recognise it for what it is - her attempts to "engage" me and to seek my approval via some half-assed question.. Women are constantly seekling external opinion and validation. They continously poll the world around them for indications of acceptance or possible disapproval.
I deal with this with humor - C&F

My answers -

Okay, but have you ever been a victim of a deeper manipulation, where you began to feel AFC again. The trivial sh!t we can all handle. But there are some serious female contenders out there who have the ability to reduce a developed man into something less. And the more you have progressed, the bigger a target you become, because women love to turn the tables on a guy they think is just a little too slick with the ladies.

Oh yes, we have all been there Donger.
I have been on the receiving end of a few serious manipulations which have hit me like a 105mm round coming in at midnight.These events DO tend to re-activate the remaining chunk of AFC in you.

Here is one example which I messed up.

I was dating a woman two years ago and we had been intimate for aboiut six weeks - very hot and heavy . She had already pulled two bad dramas in that time which I sugarcoated in order to avoid confrontations (The AFC was alive and well in me)
Anyways she was always talking about how she resented me dancing with other women and I got the strong impression that she wanted exclusivity which was OK with me at the time - I really had it bad for this woman.
One Sunday afternoon in bed(we had been at it since dawn) she said, "
I would like another male as a friend. There is a guy who I met just before you and we talk together after school - he is a teacher too . Just friends OK?"
So what did I say? "OK, that sounds OK " (my GUT however was ringing big warning bells )
Six months later(and 5 breakups) I found out that what she was really saying was this ," Jophil ,I am dating another guy behind your back. I have hooked you in so deep with my pvssy that I feel safe enough now to tell you that I have been cheating on you without the risk that you will bail."

Yeh, these days I would have handled it differently and just walked her calmly to her car and then tore up her number.
THis board has given me the knowledge and wisdom and the PERMISSION to act in MY best interests when my gut tells me to act.

I have had a lot of hard lessons. Here's one.

Shortly after I kicked drug addiction, I met what seemed to be a cool girl. I told her from the get go that I had been an addict, and that I didn't hang out with or date anyone who uses anything. She agreed that drugs were bad and said I had nothing to worry about with her.

1st Date/warning sign - She asks me to pick her up at her friends house. I get there at the agreed time. A girl comes out of the house and says "Kelley will be just a few minutes." 20 minutes later Kelley emerges from a room under the house, acting kind of different. Didn't give it much thought but had a weird feeling. Fvcked her that night.

2nd date/warning sign - I pick her up after work. She worked selling satellite dishes on the side of the highway. She claims she is waiting for a friend to come by who she owes money. When friend arrives(a weird looking older guy) she asks to borrow $20 to pay him, and she'll pay me back later. I dont give her it, and she spends 20 minutes in his car having a difficult looking conversation. When she returns she is quiet and frustrated. Fvck her again that night.

A couple weeks later - she has moved in with me, and borrowed my pager, which she somehow left it with "a friend." I finally discover that she is a total crack ho. Her boss pays her with crack, and she gave my pager to a dealer for collateral. When I call her on it she get's all up in my face calling me a piece of sh!t and all kinds of other nonsense. I tell her to get the fvck out.

Revenge step 1 - I lived a ways from town and refused to give her a ride when I was kicking her out. I had a walmart bike outside with a chain that slipped when you peddled. Knowing she would try to ride it, I sat and listened with an ear to ear grin.

Peddle peddle slip crash. She ate sh!t on the gravel driveway. I heard her cussing, then she walked off.

Revenge step 2, get back the pager - I conveniently have all of her clothes. I wont give them back until she gives me my pager. Her crack head boss starts calling and threatening me. I tell him she aint getting her stuff until I get my pager or $50. He agrees, and we plan a meeting time and spot. I dont trust him and know he will try to pull some shyt.

Revenge step 3 - By now I have a new GF, soon to be wife, with an 8 month old baby. I happened to have thrown a couple of his shyt diapers out on my patio, where they sat in the sun and rain for two weeks, incubating and cultivating into a hazardous substance of unimaginable stench. Knowing that the crack head boss had no intention of giving me my pager or $, I chose a pre-emptive strike. I put on large kitchen gloves and a face mask, and then stirred the evil diaper sauce into her bag of clothes. Plunging the rotten diapers deep into the bag. I then put the bag in a few more plastic bags so it couldn't be smelled.

The drop off - Sure enough, the crack head boss pulls a fast one and grabs the bag out of my car, put's it in his car and tells me to fvck off. I had a broken wrist so I couldn't really do anything. I let him go on his way.

30 minutes later he calls me back in a rage. He had brought the bag to his house where kelley was waiting. They had dumped the bag out in the living room, thereby getting shyt strewn clothes and shyt all over his rug. He was livid, threatening to kill me etc. I called him a pvssy and told him to meet me back at the meeting spot so I could give him a nice beat down. With my broken wrist I had no intention of going there. I hung out with my new GF, watching a movie, and laughing about the whole thing.

I dont know if that was a DJ way to handle it, but I made my point. Funny thing is, a few years later, I ran into Kelley at a club. She was sober and looking pretty good. We almost went home together that night. She remembered how good I f'd her, and all else was forgiven.

I know enough now to realize when a woman is trying to manipulate me, I ususally carry on my way and ignore it, but certainly would like to hear more case studies of re-directing or using it.

Although I generally try to avoid crackheads and mother/daughter sandwiches.
