"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

"Game" movie?

I heard somewhere they might make a movie out of it. I wouldn't be surprised. They can find a studio to throw millions of dollars into a project called "Hellboy", or one called "Soul Plane", so why not "Game" ??

Anyway, out of purely idle curiosity, if any of you read the book and (like me) have never ever met any of those people in real life, did you by any chance "picture" what actor(s) you would get to play in it? I sometimes do that w/books I read, and w/this one, as weird as this may sound, I can't help but picturing Vince Vaughn as Mystery. Ironically I'm not sure about Style. Maybe Ed Norton ?? But then he's already done the shaven headed and goateed thing in another film and I doubt he'd want to to deal with the Tyler Durden thing again. lol...... Anyway, anybody else have any ideas? Oh, and for Ross Jeffries, I've never seen Ross Jeffries, but I'd cast that actor Michael McKean. He played "Lenny" on Laverne & Shirley when he was younger, and more recently he's done those Christopher Guest films, like A Mighty Wind, and Best in Show (where he played the older of the two gay guys).

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

In between her legs!
Your totally right, if you are consumed by the game, there is a problem. There has to be balance.

Oh well, no use in trying. Crash and burn, sounds good to me!

I hear there has been a film already made "The Pickup Artist"

Commercialisation

Exactly. For people who just want to sell products a movie would be a dream come true. Every idiot in the world would come running with his wallet open. This is part of the reason why I never post my original ideas. I still other peoples stuff but I never post or tell even my wings my best stuff.

We are going to have to start learning some discretion. What I am worried about is that there will be so many idiots trying dumb stuff that even my original stuff will automatically be assumed some kind of scam off the Internet. I'm probably just paranoid, though. When your close to something it seems bigger. Since we are close to this it may seem bigger to us than it really is, but it's starting to look like this might really take off.

The city that sleeps. Sometimes.
OH MY GOD!!!

THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!

if they make a movie, it will just give the losers a reason to avoid talking to girls ("guys, i've never talked to a girl in my life, but now i can't, because they will all know im a PUA!")

however, the people who know what they're doing and aren't just using 5 routines from one method are going to be fine.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
