Master Don Juan
XAU/USD: 2000 units of gold closed for 520 pips. That was 10,000 dollars, since it was a bigger investment than the rest. CHF/USD hit the stop-loss and bailed with about 10 pips worth of profit.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Have you ever had a -330 pip loss?????TheNewGuy said:Wowwwwww. I just lost half my money with XAG/USD.
People, make sure you research your stuff before you go into a market not knowing that 1,000 units can lose you $450.
Time to start over =/
At some points it was -2450.SELF-MASTERY said:Have you ever had a -330 pip loss?????

Please explain further. Its nice to be pessimistic, and quote big names. Are you an investor or are you doing the same things as Graham?sparky0000 said:Doesn't surprise me that "Don Juan" types would be falling for this. Is FX a scam? No, not really...BUT you have about as much a chance hitting it big in FX as you do playing craps. Wealth accumulation should be viewed as a long term process. Benjamin Graham is a name that you should get to know.
While smart investors will retire rich, you'll be working until 65 relying on social security. I suggest you learn about investing before you speak.sparky0000 said:Doesn't surprise me that "Don Juan" types would be falling for this. Is FX a scam? My boss makes an additional $800 a week playing craps, two days out of the week for like 4 hours a day.sparky0000 said:Doesn't surprise me that "Don Juan" types would be falling for this. I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Hey I know several guys that make a living playing online poker...TheNewGuy said:My boss makes an additional $800 a week playing craps, two days out of the week for like 4 hours a day.
Just sayin...
Exactly, there's risks in everything. Don't want to take risk? Then you have no chance of a big reward.MetalFortress said:While smart investors will retire rich, you'll be working until 65 relying on social security. I suggest you learn about investing before you speak.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
I think most of us won't make money in forex, but it is nice to learn something new. I was taught never to play in any -gambling-type- game if you do not know what your edge is, and in forex I haven't figured out what my edge is; I doubt 95% of the people that trade currency know what their edge is...Permission said:If you guys think you can make money on this, what sets you apart from all the other people who are trying to make money on this? Most people lose money on this, and the expected value is actually zero.
Why? Opening a demo account has no negative effects...g g g unit said:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/5250250.stm

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
