That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
lol...my reasons for not having any interest in dating a "DJ" has nothing to do with my status as a parent. It's about values. I'm not a hooch and I don't do casual sex. I only have sex within a relationship. I have very high standards when it comes to men and I hold myself to those same high standards. If I am a high quality LTR geared woman then why on earth would I want anything at all to do with a player or some guy who is just looking for meaningless sex with random women?Originally posted by OneArmDeeJay
Perfect example of why you don't date single mothers
I also love it when all these newbies on the forum agree with everything Wyldfire and Friv. preaches.
And then try to give advice off of it with out any real experience and then post threads of the lamest crap or AFC questions.

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

This thread is not about me.
it's not about Don Juans.
it's not about hurting women.
i am not angry at women.
i am angry with the media.
this thread is about looking at the newspaper articles
and the articles in dolly/cosmo/cleo
looking at how much influence they have on young women
why these articles don't let women make up their own mind if its good or bad that men want to learn how to interact with them
why are the articles so biased
why are they so biased to the point that they are creating an anti Don Juan backlash among young women
where is the root of this problem ?
it is a discussion about the bigger picture
but all i hear is "i don't care it doesn't affect me. why should i care"
how about you stop looking in the mirror admiring your Don Juan self for 5 minutes and look at society as a whole and the problems it faces
OTHERWISE STAY THE F*CK OFF THE THREAD
go love yourself someplace else
all you Don Juans that say you wouldn't associate with some chick that says it's stupid
or care
YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT OF THIS THREAD
it is not about us. we are already saved.
just like the church their greatest problem is they think only of themselves and they get comfortable being safe
they forget about going outside the church walls and preaching Jesus
we end up with fat well fed christians
but the rest of the world goes to hell

This place hasn't changed how I react to men at all. I've always reacted as I do now. What it has changed is the way I view men. Being here has made me see quite clearly that far too many men are lazy, selfish and irresponsible. I don't see many men on here who are capable of acknowledging their mistakes honestly. Most just blame everyone and anything else they can come up with. They think they can have relationships without putting any real effort at all into them and do all the taking and none of the giving. And while they can be as flawed and miserable as they feel like, the second a woman makes a mistake most guys on here act as if she's killed your mother. Before coming here, anytime a woman said men have double standards and behaved this way...I stuck up for men and defended them. Basically, being here has made me honestly think less of men than I did.Originally posted by MacDiddy
Wyld: you've been on Sosuave for so long the mystery and goodness
of seduction has totally elluded you. Almost dulled your senses.
You know all our tricks, our motives and intentions but you forget to realize that we are genetically programmed to get into a chicks panties by any means neccessary. We are doing it for the survival of the human species.
Its gonna be a long time before you feel the depths of attraction once more, the tingling sensations of sexual chemistry and the butterflies in your stomach when you're in love.
Exactly...and THAT is the problem with the guys here. Most are so focused on changing themselves for the wrong reasons that they turn into robots who don't feel, don't care and don't even really live...they just go through these programmed motions. But none of it means anything or has any higher purpose.Originally posted by Don Juanabbe

Well, I always knew that most women were this way...but I didn't think most men did as well. I actually came here with a higher opinion of men than I had of women. That has changed. I used to sympathize with men about how society portrayed them. I really don't anymore because being here has shown me that society isn't so far off base afterall. When I do move on from this site I will leave being incredibly disappointed in men. It's really too bad...Originally posted by Good_ol_boy
Wyld,
Usually, I tend to agree with you (before you numbnuts come rushing in shouting "AFC", save it--your opinion of me is none of my business ), but this time I differ.
"Being here has made me see quite clearly that far too many men are lazy, selfish and irresponsible."
It's not men, it's everyone!! It didn't used to be this way, but over the last 20 years, things have gone down hill.
Actually, what I'm saying is VERY relevent to the subject of the thread. I am a woman and have been a member here for a very long time. I'm being very honest about how I perceive the men here. If a logical thinking woman such as myself is put off by things I read here and the behavior I witness...the average woman is going to be even more put off and turned off.Originally posted by comic_relief
could we get back to the original purpose of this thread please. I have tried to keep my posts on task and got answers to a post that I made up a while ago from Desdinova.
Let's get back on task now guys.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
