In pooks book he talks a lot about masculinity. All these techniques and tricks simply mean nothing without a associated way of doing them. You can throw the best pick up line out there and have it fail just simply because you may suck.

Masculinity

Characteristics

Janet Saltzman Chafetz (1974, 35-36) describes seven areas of masculinity.

1. Physical — virile, athletic, strong, brave. Unconcerned about appearance and aging;
2. Functional — breadwinner, provider for family as much as mate
3. Sexual — sexually aggressive, experienced. Single status acceptable;
4. Emotional — unemotional, stoic, the proverb says boys don't cry;
5. Intellectual — logical, intellectual, rational, objective, practical,
6. Interpersonal — leader, dominating; disciplinarian; independent, free, individualistic; demanding;
7. Other Personal Characteristics — success-oriented, ambitious, aggressive, proud, egotistical; moral, trustworthy; decisive, competitive, uninhibited, adventurous.

This was taken from Wikipedia. Now some as well as i might be saying..well...no ****, but alot of people here are missing the bigger picture. I come here every so often and see threads like...what do i do on a date..what should i say...how should i act....what to do if she does this...ect.

These people are missing the big picture and dont realize that if they were to simply make them selfs more masculine and work on them selfs instead of pleasing the women they would find that women please them.

Now of course these arent all the things that describe masculinity...but if you were to take a few of these traits and attempt to develop them you might find not only women taking a liking..you might just boost your own esteem.

It is more important to work on yourself than to work for a women.

You have to realize for lot of guys it takes a long time to break the old habit of "what do i do". I say, take baby steps. Set goals. "I'm going to be more aggressive at my job". "I'm going to be more decisive in school". You get the idea.

Fight Club, the movie/book, is a good example of an emasculated 30 year old boy turning into an alpha male. He gradually realizes that Tyler is, in fact, him all along. Even at the end, he refuses to accept his masculine fate by literally beating the crap out of himself, and shooting himself.

Masculinity is a bold idea. You must be bold enough to live it.
