Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Personally, I'd love to find a girl that's on my level. That's not a girlfriend, that's a partner for life. You guys ever hear the Cake song "Short Skirt, Long Jacket?"

And I quote:

I want a girl with a mind like a diamond
I want a girl who knows what's best
I want a girl with shoes that cut
And eyes that burn like cigarettes
I want a girl with the right allocations
who is fast and thorough and sharp as a tack,
She is playing with her jewelry, she is putting up her hair
She is touring the facility
and picking up slack
I want a girl with a short skirt and a
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong jacket

I want a girl who gets up early
I want a girl who stays up late
I want a girl with uninterrupted prosperity
Who uses a machete to cut through red tape
With fingernails that shine like justice
And a voice that is dark like tinted glass
She is fast, thorough and sharp as a tack,
She is touring the facility and picking up slack
I want a girl with a short skirt and a looooooong,
loooooooooooooooooooooooooong jacket

Nananananananananananananananananana

I want a girl with smooth liquidation
I want a girl with good dividends
At Citi Bank we will meet accidently
We will start to talk when she borrows my pen
She wants a car with a cup holder armrest
She wants a car that will get her there
She is changing her name from Kitty to Karen
She is trading her MG for a white, Chrysler LeBaron
I want a girl with a short skirt and a
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong jacket

You've got it, that song has a great bassline too.

Wayward, her being an alpha doesn't mean that she has to be a b1tch either, just like male alphas don't need to be @sses either. Besides, it's not actually about how much you make ($80k isn't really that much anyway), it's about being able to get what you want yourself without expecting someone else to get it for 'ya (especially when it comes to gender). It just seems as if wealthy people readily do it for themselves as compared to those who aren't considered wealthy (including those who only make $80k)

Dating an "Alpha Woman" would not bother me in the slightest. I think the men that have a problem with keeping these women are the ones that believe they are inferior to them. As long as you do not think anything of her job, money, or position, and hold yourself in a higher regard, she will not think anything of it either. I really think it's all in the mind and how you see things.

I'm right with 'ya on that. It's the whole thing about people giving more value to what a person has than who they are. What makes it worse is when they base their own value on what they don't have in comparison.

A couple of weeks back I posted that I was going to limit my sarging to women with their own means because of my frustration with women who want to be taken care of. I haven't excluded women you aren't wealthy but I take their financial solvency into consideration.

So far I've been meeting more doctors, lawyers and other white color professional women as opposed to women with an artsy, creative or athletic background. Not only was there self sufficiency, a few of them seemed willing to be the financial backer of the relationship (Woo Hoo!! :rockon).

However, so far these women having really rung my bell. They were mostly "nice girls" who were very accommodating and giving but little excitement behind them outside of what they could buy. They either had kick ass home, rocking cars or traveled extensively. But all they seemed to do was throw huge parties to show off their newest stuff, drive around to be seen in their rocking cars or sit around while traveling to be catered to. Basically, they just used interesting stuff to be interesting.

I'm seeing that there is a similarity between these women and guys who do similar things. It's more about what they have that makes them who they are without any means to stand on their own merit. I'm sure that this isn't an absolute but it is interesting to watch it happen with the opposite sex.

Oh yeah, I've had a couple contact me after nexting them wondering if I hadn't called them because I didn't like their car or the restaurant that they took me to for dinner. I've just told them that I didn't feel the chemistry, I don't have the heart to tell them that they would probably bore me to tears in the long run.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
