"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

do a serch on him,

doesn't exacly apply to whole "pickup scene" but his threds/posts, are puirty interasting, to say the least.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

There can't be no "new Pook". Pook is an icon, your dude may write cool articles, but he ain't no Pook.

Comparing one to Pook shouldn't be taken lightly.

That being said, links/quotes would be appreciated. People are lazy, they just won't search for whatever you just talked about.

Is he D'Angelo good, Doc Love good, girlproblems.com good? please elaborate.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Actually, we don't know that. Nobody seems to know anything about Pook, except that he wrote a lot of articles.

pook is a woman hater. Read his last set of threads/posts. Pook hangs out in Divorce court all day, subjected to the missery of white trash (which obviusly had an impact on him).

Pook is not a Guru.

Nobody has witnessed his game, unlike all the other gurus.

There are nerd professors all over this country, who write these essays on the theory's of attraction....they by no means have "game"

To my knowledge all Pook is, is a great expressor of attraction theorys.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Calm down, Spider! My comment was more directed at Bill, as he said that there can't be a "new Pook."

Where did anyone mention the word "guru" while talking about Pook? I said he was an "icon", and it's what I meant to say.

Pook, whether he is one person or a couple guys writing articles, is the one user showing the way to AFCs coming to this website. Most of the insightful articles in the DJB were written by Pook, and that's something to remember. Now I don't mean to put him on a pedestal, but without Pook sosuave wouldn't be the community it is right now. That's what I meant by "there can't be a new Pook".

Pook is indeed a great writer, a knowledgeable individual, and it's even possible (however unlikely, IMO) that he has (gasp!) no game to speak of. The fact that we know so little about him/it/her makes it tough to elaborate on his experience, but he nonetheless is a guide, so to speak.

Don't get me wrong, great writers are ALWAYS welcome. I for one will be reading Mr. Tomassi material.
