The most interesting thing happened to me today

first for you to understand i must give some back story. there is another horse racing forum i visit that a girl i dated in hte past visits. this was years ago. i've moved on she's moved on. everyone on the forum who has been there a while knew we dated and her and I have somewaht of a gentelemens agreement just not to air dirty laundry. in other words if she says something i 'm not going to use something personal to get under her skin beucase there is a lot she knows about me that no one else knows and there is a lot i know about her that no one else knows.


anyway she's 30 years old. there was a random post in the off topic forum that came up that had to do with marriage and i responded to it. lol i dont' know if you ever get this but it's like, you know that response or that look when you let the sosuave in you come out lol. you know what i'm talking about. and the feeling of knowing that you know good and damn well you are right but also knowing that no one will side with you and knowing exactly why no one will side with you.

anyway she comes out the blue, and just called me every name in the book and told me how men will never be able to think clearly as women would blah blah balh and all the feminist crap.

i was half way through a long rant in response and laughed and deleted it, and actually i kiinda feel sad for her.

when i dated her younger, she was so happy go lucky. she found the comforts in the little things in life, watching her fav TV show, cooking a good meal taking her dog for a walk. i would call her or spend time with her and she knows how i feel about a lot of stuff and she's right there with me.

now she is just bitter and pissed. the older women get the longer they go without doing what they were supposed to do when they are younger the more they turn to feminist view points and thoughts. the girl that responded is nothing like the girl i dated.

and then all the women there will agree with her and all the males there will agree with them because they want to be in the women's good graces.

What i also notice is that women who get older and more longly the more issues they have with sexuality or women expressing their sexuality.


I think it's jealousy. I look at women who 10 years ago were the life of the party had all the guys interested in them and kicked it and 10 years later the roles are somewhat reversed and because they never had to emotionally mature they don't deal with it very well.

Well things just didn't turn out the way she expected them. Women are funny when their bitter like this. They never look at themelves, and hold their own actions accountable.

They were used to guys kissing their asses since they were 11 years old, finally when after all their bad choices in Men and their lifestyles catch up with them by the time they are 30, everybody else is in the wrong. Some girls try to be the perfect GF in their 20's. Then Jerk boyfriend then screws them over, and they go through the "all men are a$$holes" phase. Eventually they settle for some poor AFC, because the younger chicks (like she used to be) are getting all the attention So they remain bitter about the jerks they dated, and the choices they make.

My sister is still bitter about a guy she dated when she was 24, she's 32 now, and settled with this quiet AFC guy, who puts up with her crap. I love the girl, but she is a serious ball buster. Her Ex who cheated on her is now married to the girl he left her for, and still contacts her occasionally to annoy her. I don't think she will ever be over him, and the AFC bf says nothing, and is just happy he isn't alone..

I think an issue to is their friends. Most women will tell each other what they want to hear, never what they need. Guys are good this way, they will give you the truth if your doing something wrong. if i got a divroce tomorrow, within a month i would have top notch plates of all ages. this girl, at 30, she might have learned from her mistakes but what can she tangibly do about it? even the guys she know she could have dated if she played her cards right have moved on most likely.

Great points. My biggest complaint with 30something women is that, with a few exceptions, they are NO FUN to date. I'm forgiving on the looks thing. While many are still decent looking, I don't expect her to look like she's 23. That's not my point.

My point is, like backbreaker said, in your 20s you can just enjoy BEING with a girl, whether you watch a movie, walk the dog or just throw a frisbee. There was no pressure. You didn't have to spend much money, and you actually looked forward to hanging out with her again.

Funny enough, in my (late) 20s when I was dating 20somethings, I had so much fun on the dates that I was actually in no hurry to sleep with them. As AFC as it sounds, I could talk to her all night and go to sleep with a smile on my face. (Of course, that cost me many possible relationships because they were used to more aggressive guys, but that's another topic.)

But once they get into their 30s, dating is no longer fun. It's a BUSINESS TRANSACTION and a job interview. My last date was 34. She was decent looking and had a good job. But she tried to grill me on EVERY LAST detail. These women have this frame that, "I want to know EVERYTHING about you NOW. If you aren't EXACTLY the type to fit into my plan, forget it." Basically, time has run out for them, and they want they perfect LTR/marriage guy NOW. Dating is a formality.

So now, I want to b*ng the 30somethings FASTER than younger ones because their company sucks lol. The only time they've been fun and interesting is when I met them on vacation.

How the tables have turned once people age!! Right now you deal with a lot of girls in their prime so your game has to be super tight to get with these girls if your a young dude. When girls get older their stock drops big time though. They don't look as good and they start to accumalate emotional and tangible baggage. I can't wait to get this MBA so I can get a good job and get some good money so I can really live life. A playa told me that you haven't really experienced life until you make 30k+ a year. I been patient all these years; one more and I'm out.

I met so many women in their 20's travelling last year. They were just enjoying themselves, not even bothered about relationships. Just experiencing being free and away from their comfort zones and boundarys.

My sister was telling me recently that her AFC boyfriend is "thinking" about proposing to her this summer.. How romantic I thought to myself. So she's holding out for this big moment, and has ALL her eggs in 1 basket.

Personally I believe she doesn't "love him till death" it's more "I don't want to be alone, I have been messed around before, and I'm not 21, so I'm going to settle with this guy....he is NICE!!" I'm not going to ruin her fantasy and i hope they will be happy. But I know she still holds a torch for that old Ex that cheated on her all those years ago.

I think Business Transaction is an excellent analogy for this. Another mate of mine is 29. Been going out with a girl for almost 1 year. He has had some of the worst cases of oneitis i have ever seen. Pined over a girl in high school for 7 years, and during his 20's one girl for almost 8 years. (Who he went out with for 3 weeks!) Now he met a girl at home that's 32, and basically has disappeared off the planet. Lives with her, and has taken her on 4 or is 5 Holidays abroad since last year.. Next year, we have a bet on he will be engaged....


It's funny now to be able to stand back and look at all this from a neutral POV as the years go by. I watch friends both Male and Female just settle, because their afraid of being alone, or that society demands it.

ironically enough I like this show much more than my wife does. I think krsiten davis is kinda hot. she doens't think the show is very realistic and I have to agree with her.

really if you think about it, sex in the city was the beginning of the end. sex in the city is the equivlant to the beatles in the 60's in how it changed an entire culture.

The show is very misleading and makes a few assumptions that women just ran with. That you can be in your mid 40's and still snag hot men like you could in your 20's. didn't Samantha end up actually dating long term a guy in his mid 20's? when i was younger i didn't think anything of it otehr than i wouldn't mind bending Samantha over a table lol, but as i get older i laugh at this. in real life a guy as good looking as her man was would not give that **** the time of day o0ther than the occasional late night i can't find anyone else blow job.


then you had the red head ****y ***** who somehow manages to hit the perfect balance between your career and finding a good (afc) male. she goes to law school, becomes a kick ass lawyer and still is hot enough to find her a decent man, get married and have a baby all in her mid 30's! yeah baby!

and don't even get me started on sarahs character. this ***** to me is like the blue devil in the 9th layer of hell in Daunte's inferno. the ***** runs through man after man after man after man. not even bad men. kick ass men. that russian dude was so pimp. had money had looks, had charm, nah. perfect is not enough. she would have men and she would pickt he silliest **** and leave them and at the end of the day, all her ****ty ass decisions were wiped clean when mr big comes back in her life and she lives happily ever after. at the end of the day she gets her man.

the only half ass normal one was krisitan davis. she didn't have any real big issues that i can think of.


that show set women back about 20 years IMHO becuase it reinforced truisms that aren't true. no you can't constantly fvck 20 year olds when you are 47 because you still "Got it". no you can't have your career and still be "hot" enough in your mid 30's to get you a good man by then all the good men are most likely taken. no you can't make ****ty decision after ****ty decision after ****ty decision and still get your knight in shining armor.

the older i get the more the sybolism is quite clear to me in the show. the three women, are really all one woman, just different aspects of that woman. Samatha's character deals with the women's aging. Jessica Parker deals with trying to find the right guy in general as you are getting older. red head **** deals with feminism and trying to strike balance with career and love. and all there of them could not possibly be more wrong.

I remember and i don't know why i am thinking about this but this event sticks out to me. I remember when I was in rehab. it was co ed. guys had girls there. one morning before class started, we had these little classes we had to go to. it's like 8:45 in the morning everyone is out back kicking it. there is a starbucks like 3 blocks from the place. this dude had a girl there he was dating. she was cute. not hot but cute. nothing really special. anyay, he comes and he brought her some starbucks coffee and like when he left, or went inside she looked at her friends and rolled her eyes. i wanted to slap the piss out that girl and it wasn't even my girl. this dude though enough about you to get you some free coffee and your response is to roll your god damn eyes at him behind his back. Every action a male makes does not have to make you wet with excitement but when a guy goes out of his way to think about you at least show some ****ing respect. that's all I ask.

Yeah, what that young chick in Starbucks did pisses me off. I don't know how young girls get this Diva attitude, and feel the need to be disrespectful. Now in fairness, most women will appreciate good manners, and appreciate when a guy would do that for you.

Here's one, My flatmate who is female is 29, has an answer for everything, has recently separated from her husband and is a complete ***** of the highest order. She goes through guys like a whale through plankton. Since I moved in a few months ago, i think she has had at least 20 guys in her room.

She openly acknowledges she likes sex, but then sometimes says to me, "I would love to date a real man......" She is not even good looking, and a player too. I have seen all the evil sides of a women in her, but I don't judge her, it just makes sense to me, in a DJ way, and i laugh about it to myself.

She went out with a guy for about 9 years, bought a house, got married, 3 months later dumped him, left her country, left him, and now is sleeping with anything with a pulse. You should hear her talk about men, like disposable tissues. I smile, and do my own thing. But it bugs her that i don't agree with her and i tell her i wouldn't date a chick like her ever. It drives her mad. She still thinks shes Queen ****, i feel sorry for her, and especially all those guys who like taking a dip in the city sperm pool.

Nowadays everybody is so PC anway, and is afraid to say what's on their mind, they just go with the status quo. A hoor is still a hoor. As i got older, some women got their lives together, and made real positive changes. Others though, just keep on making the same mistakes, and eventually life chews them up and spits them out.

sex in the city basically is a woman's unrealistic wish list for how she wants life to happen.

so you got red head **** *****, the male equivalent to that would be a guy who doesn't have a real career or path in life, just works nights as a security guard yet has a loyal HB 8 who loves him dearly. doesn't put the screws to him to try to better himself. doesn't have a wondering eye. just totally devoted to her non ambitious male man.


samatha is tricky because men have the exact opposite problem. younger males generally have a hrd time getting laid than older males. so Samantha's character would be a 21 year old who is still in college and lives in a dorm and is running through all the HB 8s and above on campus who are not looking at the guys who have just graduated from college with hot shot jobs or not into the men who have established themselves with homes and toys and what not. nope they all are lining up for this guy


sarah jessica parkers character, let's see.. men generally are the exact oppoisite. most men don't date enough. don't use their options. so this character would be a guy who liteararlly marries the first girl who would kiss him in college and 15 years later she still puts out every night, still catches lol, still is a size 3 and doesn't bust his balls at all. all this mind you despite the fact that he has never dated any other girl but this one and has never had to develop any game


TAKING it a step further the thing that really pisses me off about sarah jessica parkers character is that the alpha male decides to settle down with her, for no tangible reason wahtsoever other than the "connection" that they have. she's not extraordinarily good looking she's not rich she's not the most intelligent person on earth she can't cook there is nothing to separate her from about 300k women in NYC yet he can't live without her. at least the red head was very intelligent. the show reinforces the idea that being not ugly, having cute shoes and a Virgina is enough to snag any man you just have to keep looking.
