"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Revelations 13
16 And he compelled all, both small and great, rich and poor, freemen and slaves to receive a mark on their right hands or on their brows,
17 So that no man might buy or sell unless he who had the name of the beast or the code number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom: Let him who has understanding decipher the code number of the beast; for it is the code number of the name of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six...

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

strange thing about p.e.a.c.e. brother. one country delivers it to poor nations, it falls on them out of bomb bays of B-52 bombers... strange thing about our own freedom, we have less of it each day... strange thing about us, hating each other, ridiculing each other, fighting each other. we are divided and ready to be conquered.

No, it didn't. You could at least research your parlor humor a little better. The Bible said a lot of incredible things that sound foolish, but that is not one of them. There is one verse that uses the phrase 'the four corners of the world.' That itself is translated to English. It does not say that the world is flat; it's just an expression. "World" is probably better translated to mean "map."

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

This seems a little preachy. I don't think a call to arms over "the end" of something is warrented. I think our era is about to come to an end but i highly doubt civilization will becondluded anytime soon.

Entry from The Skeptic's Dictionary:
Shoehorning is the process of force-fitting some current affair into one's personal, political, or religious agenda. So-called psychics frequently shoehorn events to fit vague statements they made in the past. This is an extremely safe procedure, since they can't be proven wrong and many people aren't aware of how easy it is to make something look like confirmation of a claim after the fact, especially if you give them wide latitude in making the shoe fit. It is common, for example, for the defenders of such things as the Bible Code or the "prophecies" of Nostradamus to shoehorn events to the texts rather than truly predict anything.

My apologies. But it might as well be in there:

Exodus Chapter 12
37 The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Succoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. 38 Many other people went up with them, as well as large droves of livestock, both flocks and herds.

Biggest Mathematical Miracle in the World
Moses and his people were in the desert, but what was he going to do with them? They had to be fed, and fed is what he did, according to the Quartermaster General in the Army.

It is reported that Moses would have to have had 1500 tons of food each day. Do you know that to bring that much food each day, two freight trains, each a mile long, would be required!

Besides you must remember, they were out in the desert, so they would have to have firewood to use in cooking the food. This would take 4000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains, each a mile long just for one day.

And just think, they were forty years in transit.
And oh yes! They would have to have water. If they only had enough to drink and wash a few dishes, it would take 11,000,000 gallons each day, and a freight train with tank cars, 1800 miles long, just to bring water!

And then another thing! They had to get across the Red Sea at night.
Now if they went on a narrow path, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So, there had to be a space in the Red Sea, 3 miles wide so that they could walk 5000 abreast to get over in one night.

But then, there is another problem.
Each time they camped at the end of the day, a campground two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island was required, or a total of 750 square miles long...think of it! This space just for nightly camping.

You could do better. There are a lot more scientifically implausible verses. It says they traveled with livestock, and Exodus says they ate 'manna from heaven,' which was probably bug excrement, or - and you'll like this - shrooms:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manna So Moses may have been tripping the whole time.

The Zondervan NIV talks about the problem of what seems like too many people in the desert. The Hebrew word for "thousand" can be translated several ways. In addition to the literal number itself, the word can mean 'family division,' or 'chief' which is like a military company. The actual total of people could be as low as 1/10th of the 600,000. They would still need water to drink and wood for fires, but there was probably more of that around 3,500 years ago than there is today.

Not all of the Bible can be explained away like this, but much of the popular parlor-humor preys upon the difficulty of converting Hebrew to English and reading an ancient text from a modern perspective.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
