Back in my college days, I asked a girl out only to be turned down; she turned out to be a a b*tch. But over the next 2-3 weeks, I ran into her everywhere; in line at the dining hall, at the mail room, at the gym, on the way to/from class, etc. I told my friend that G*d was playing games with me; I wanted to move on, but running into her every day was not good. Well, he's at it again.

I recently made a post about a HB who shunned me at a party: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=196764. HB and I used to get along rather well, but recently she's been giving me the silent treatment and I don't know why. Though we briefly went over any differences we had, I was moving on! :woo:

Of course, G*d has other plans. Or he's really bored. Today, I was pulling into work looking for a parking spot - which usually takes some time because there aren't a lot of spots. And I knew it was going to be a good day when I saw a girl getting into her car very close to the building. However, it was taking a long time for her to leave. She got in the car, then got out, then back in, out again, and finally in. With no other cars nearby, I drove around for a few moments to give whoever this girl was some space. The car starts, she is setting things up, and then takes out her perfume and makeup? :box:

That was it. After making sure it wasn't one of my bosses, I beeped the car horn. The girl gives my car the glare of death and - oh boy - it's HB, the shunner who plays games. I don't know if she knew it was me since I recently bought a new car, but she immediately peeled out of the lot.

Two questions. The non-girl question is, do you ever beep at co-workers in situations like this? It was really taking awhile. The girl-related question is, does this happen to you, where you want to forget about a girl and move on but she keeps "appearing" - not at work or school, but just in random places?

Hahahaha! Good post! Sometimes I get the feeling He plays with me, too. But differently. The opposite actually. Whenever things go bad with a girl, God makes sure to send her very far away.
1. Girl from school rejects me - God sends her to Germany to get married.
2. Relationship ends badly with ex - God gets her a job in a different city.
3. Girl from my building rejects me - God sends her to Singapore to live there.
I guess the Man upstairs is either lookin' out for me or my game is so bad, the girls just need to migrate afterwards. Hahahaha!

Lucky guy. Some of the girls who turn me down/we break it off do disappear - the ones who ended it peacefully. The girls who were immature and tried to create issues. unfortunately they don't disappear so quickly. It takes awhile.

I have the opposite problem.. "G*d" seems to divert the girl I am interested in a different direction while I am trying to set up a first interaction/first date, etc.

If I am supposed to get married someday, "G*d" keeps preventing me from even getting the relationship started!

OR it is just relevance.. Before you were infatuated with her, she was still around. Now that you have invested time and some emotions into her, you have changed in regards to how her presence affects you, but she probably could care less either way( If she has invested nothing into her interaction/rapport with you, she has no feelings to be swayed. )

She may come across as b1tchy toward you, but her friends probably think she is sweet and pleasant. Depends on your perspective.

I break up with a girl. She announces it to the whole city, then people start approaching me and saying ' hey are you that guy on facebook that dumped her?'

Not to mention I bump into them every time.

2 months ago I bumped into 4 ex girlfriends, in same day.
