Humans are driven to reproduce. So much so that when we find a partner who's a suitable candidate for making babies, everything goes out the window.
I'm sure you've had friends that were normal guys until they got into a relationship. Pretty soon they weren't allowed to hang out, have even one beer, or even play video games.
Now, many guys blame the women for this, but in reality, it wouldn't be possible unless the guy was a willing participant in his newfound "slavery."
Women are the same way.
Why? Because when think we've got a "live one," nothing else matters. Everything we think was important, suddenly takes a back seat to keeping the sex flowing.
This can present a problem. We're not cavemen anymore. We don't have to take whatever we can get. We don't live in a situation with only a handful of girls to choose from. Saying "no" to any stream of easy sex doesn't mean we're forever condemning ourselves to celibacy.
However, this isn't natural. We need to keep reminding ourselves that we live in a society with millions of people to choose from.
That's why having criteria is essential.
At the very least, you should have three categories of girls in your minds.
Friends, lovers, and relationship types.
And when it comes to relationship types, you should be as picky as you can be.
Sure, you can bang any girl you want. Just know that she doesn't meet your relationship "criteria" so you don't feel so bad when she bails because you won't "commit."
If you don't have ANY criteria at all, you're caveman brain is pretty good at convincing you that ANY girl that even touches your willy is relationship material.
Don't fall into that trap. The best defense is a good offense. Know what you want in a relationship girl. Know what qualities she has. Know what red flags should send you packing.
The more clear you get with these, in your mind, the less likely you'll fall into a horrible trap. And I don't mince words when I say "horrible."
The wrong women can drain you of your energy, your finances and your vitality. Without any criteria of what you want in a relationship girl, you are leaving yourself open to mother nature's evil genius.
Just like in inception, when Leo had that spinning top that reminded him he was really in a dream, you've got to have some criteria to keep you from making a commitment to the wrong woman when you're being led down the rabbit hole of easy sex.
