"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

The curtain was meant to shield the special ed kids from humiliation
Another instance of empathy(something very different from what's been dubbed Wise/Rational Compassion)going awry: Those Special Ed kids almost certainly received a rude awakening when they left school each day, and discovered that no one is going to hide them behind a curtain for the sake of "preventing their humiliation"

"My refusal to ask out a woman I seriously think is into me is akin to the curtain in the special ed gym class: A shield to prevent possible humiliation"

So you want to be a prize fighter, but are terrified of "losing" a match/having the crowd react in a less than flattering fashion, when you do something foolish in the ring

Good luck with that

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I've lived in several states, however (some of which are a lot different than others)
There are some moves between US states that would be a big culture shock. The English language would be a commonality but not much else would be.

Plus, I am in sales, so I know this stuff is just BS to keep underperforming employees motivated or get newbies excited to target the terrible accounts the experienced salesmen do not want.
Many women are the equivalent of accessing The A-List in Hollywood: Extremely tough to achieve, and once you've done so, the trade-offs made in order to get there quickly seem questionable

Luckily, no one is pressing a loaded Sig to any of our skulls, threatening to pull the trigger, UNLESS we pursue "difficult" women or Tom Cruise-esque career paths. Just as plenty of actors forego major stardom in favor of quieter personal lives and artistic freedom, we can all pursue women who aren't likely to be Grade A pains in the ass

All you guys that worry about getting rejected better stay home.

No worries, not every one can grow thick skin. Better let the tough ones handle it. I am certain it doesnt hurt their feelers.

The issue here is that it is normal women being pains in the ass and having the standards of 9s & 10s. Having tough skin makes sense if you are shooting for women above your league but does not when you are battling in the trenches with women within your smv or lower.

Most men are battling in the trenches with women within their SMV or lower.

This is true for both the alpha/sigma males with a red pill ideology who are aware of "game" and seduction AND it is also true for beta males with a blue pill ideology.

The typical male (who is likely a beta) is dealing with women in the average to cute range who have the standards of 9s and 10s.

The typical male is taking a lot of rejections both from tech methods (low match %) and from when he makes real life approaches.

This is why I advocate choosing your own battles and disqualifying women because too many men get brought into a trench fight with some woman on par or below their smv in actuality. It is easy to be hung up on some Mid woman at best because she wears makeup and you are desperate for some pvssy.

That sounds like something that the typical male (a beta with a blue pill ideology and scarcity mindset) experiences while living in a big city and trying to meet new women who are strangers.

Remain thin skinned and continue being devastated when the waitress at IHop refuses to drop her knickers, bend over, and spread her hirsute, malodorous cheeks, all because you winked at her from across the diner

Somehow, I suspect your perennial disappointment won't cause the cosmos to implode, and that the planet will keep on a' turnin'

Yeah, it requires an ounce of introspection to notice that we're ruminating on something, and it requires effort to view our external reality from multiple angles. Therefore, most folks would just as soon jam their faces into a fish tank full of famished piranhas, BEFORE they engage in even mild self-reflection

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I had no idea who Miss? Chastain was. But i'd say the overview on google aligned well with her statements.

Jessica Michelle Chastain is an American actress and producer known for her authentic performances in a variety of roles, often playing strong but flawed women. She's known for starring in projects with feminist themes.

She pushes the same agenda that @self_is_an_illusion does.

We all might not get the results we desire when we pursue a goal. Such is life
When I said "might/probably will" say no, the emphasis was meant to be on the "probably will"

There are some moves between US states that would be a big culture shock. The English language would be a commonality but not much else would be.
Yeah. And even then, despite English being the de facto language, there are many places with a sizable population that doesn't speak (or barely knows how to speak) English, even if a majority of the population speaks English. Whereas in the small town I was raised in, being unfamiliar with English was practically unheard of.

Well-said. You've identified the core problem: Even a woman who's on par with us on the looks scale wants to date above her league.

The importance you give to this thing depends on the person who rejected you and how much importance you had given them in your life.
For me, being right (as opposed to wrong) about a woman's interest level is the important part to me, even if the woman herself isn't tremendously important to me.

For example, the female employee in my office building's cafe I've posted about on here before (who I suspected might be into me). I'm not exactly into her (even though I find her physically attractive, she's a lot younger than I prefer). Yet I was still somewhat crushed when I found out (without coming out and asking) she's not into me. The fact I misread a woman's interest level yet again was why I was crushed.

It would have been way more crushing, however, had I done an official askout.

So you were crushed because you were wrong about something? Had nothing to do with attraction or lack thereof? Sorry if I'm not following. Are you also crushed when you don't answer a trivia question correctly? Serious question.

No, I'm not crushed when I get a trivia question wrong. For that matter, in general, I don't tend to be crushed when I'm wrong about stuff.

A woman's interest level in me is the one exception where I am crushed when I turn out to be wrong.

As for why a woman's interest level is the one exception? Because I end up blaming my autism for why I misread her interest level (and I'm extremely self-conscious of my autism).

When I think a girl/woman is into me, I've been wrong the vast majority of the time (in the cases where I've gotten an answer at least)

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
