I'm guessing she was a Protestant? the reason why I say that is their religion is like a veneer that lies lightly on an otherwise secular and individualistic mindset. This is hardly surprising when you consider that our modern world developed out of the radical Protestant spilt and dichotomization between the public and private spheres of life.

I saw the same marital holocaust running rampant in Protestant circles.
Most child bearing ladies are feminized in some way. Aside from the Muslims, Armenian, and Hindu, it effects all religions equally.

But the marriage thing is a very simple proposition. Either the woman is marriageable or she is not. The way the OP outlines marriage is a recipe for disaster.

And of course the man must LEAD in this equation.

Catholics, and I am technically one of them, are the most vulnerable for cheating and divorce.
I hear people referring to the 'cultural Catholic' as someone who doesn't take their religion seriously. But to me this term itself reflects an ideological perspective, or bias, where culture is the outer and ideology the inner. My sense of a cultural Catholic, in the fuller sense of the word culture, could also be termed a philosophical Catholic, one with a worldview.

That's one of the intreseting point of our times. When you get that clash of cultures.

I'm half Roma "gypsy" and half middle class Englishman, and so I have seen and been brought up with both sides of it.

But essentially the real truth is that they see outsider's (which Roma people take a disliking to in general terms as "gorgers") as sluts to fvck around with before marrying inside. Meanwhile the other half of me is irked by that, because that's a piss take towards the larger culture which i am also a part of.
Years ago I watched the Roma tv series on A&E (I think). It seemed that the ladies are very promiscuous. Not sure if that is really true or not. I am sure a lot of it is scripted.

Outside of the Muslim/Hindu/Armenian countries, religion is dead. The crosses people wear, are just for bling. The Jewish stars or whatever the Jewish people wear on their necklaces are BS too. I know a few orthodox Jews and they cheat on their wives too. It's all disgusting. If two people are in a marriage or LTR you stay true within the marriage or LTR. If not, you leave.

I am very black and white in my life. It's prob. why the ladies in my life do not last more than a few months. They cross a line, and I just walk away. I give one a little more leeway, but she screwed herself too. I am not angry at them, as it's their human nature, just a bit disappointed at times. I accept it and just move on.

Yes she was a Protestant, and the ex-gf before her was also a Protestant. Although, I don't know if that word has much meaning now since nobody is consciously renouncing the pope by identifying with this group and the influence of the Catholic church itself has taken a severe hit because of ifs sex scandals. I don't think that term means as much as it did in the 16th century.

However, not all Protestants necessarily have a secular or individualistic mind-set. My mother certainly does not and I know she has a more Biblical mind-set.

What type of woman do you think would take vows seriously then? That won't have a secular or individualistic mind-set at their core and have some religious veneer. What is your denomination?

I have a Catholic/medieval worldview.

A Catholic woman perhaps that has not so much a Catholic worldview, as a character shaped by the disciplines and art of the traditions of Catholicism. It's this aspect of art that is largely missing [imo] in the Protestant sects, being of a more purely cerebral affair. You'd find marriageable women in other traditional forms of religion such as found in Islam etc, but then you'd probably have to convert.

There's not much you can do about the world, but there is a lot you can do about yourself. It's quite an irony I think that the 'red pill' is supposedly all about self-determination and excellence [and rejecting the norms], when there is a blind spot to our own psychology. The fact is we don't have to be lust-buckets chasing after less than worthy women. Real excellence, and putting ourselves in that equation, may lead to the options between marriage [to marriageable women] and monk mode. Sadly, most men are too weak to even contemplate the idea of monk mode... this weakness is what makes them chase around after immature women, giving them the attention they crave, and contributing to the general slide in our culture. Men need to man up and become leaders again.

It's hard nowadays to form anything. I will say it now like I said it before, OLD and social media has destroyed the relationship model for both genders. Why work at something when either party can get someone to replace that person within a few swipes? I fear that this could be the downfall of western civilization. Men are being taken over by soy boys and feminists. I read on CNBC that the the average millennial lady is earning now more then the men. Has nothing bad to say against the lady, it just shows that men, in general, are dropping the ball. I guess the millenial men are getting their kicks and needs met by jerking off to porn, being taken care of by mommy and daddy and playing video games. The ladies get their needs met by fvcking strange through OLD or the bar, social needs met through social media, and they have their own money.

In summary, the world is upside down and heading for the crapper.

1. DOUBLE your income.

Double your expenses too. 2 cars, more heat, more cooling, more hot water, more soap, more shampoo, more food

2. cut your housing expenses in HALF

See my first response.

3. tax breaks for married couples

Sure, by filing joint. But who is spending that return?

4. tax breaks for home ownership

I don’t know about that

5. you're never alone for social events, dates, vacations

Just about every social event, I was alone. Dates and vacations, sure.

6. children give you a reason to invest in society and improve it

I have 3. They need me. Not the other way around.

7. regular sex

As in once or twice a month? Ok, I guess that is regular.

8. no pressure to keep dating or searching for another sex partner

Nope, just a desire to do so. See regular sex response.

9. your children may provide for you financially or for your health care in old age

May...that’s a pretty big if.

10. the divorce stats are skewed by 2, 3, 4x losers in marriage. Most first time marriages stay intact, even in the west

This I don’t know. Research seems to be all over the place.

11. cut ALL your expenses in half

Answered above. It’s a no. I know because my savings and income are higher today.

12. no pressure to spin plates or find a new plate (not like anyone is doing that anyway on this forum)

Again, see desire response. But, agreed...I suppose

Fake Redpill is just mental masturbation for guys who can't get laid or who can't get a girlfriend. It's just rationalizing away what you can't have as evil: "women are evil!" "don't put the pvssy on a pedestal!" or some other lame virginic sh1t.

I don’t think any of us think they are evil. I keep myself as my mental point of origin and ask myself “do they add to my life? Or take away from it?”

The true redpill is based on facts, not histrionics from internet geeks who can't get laid and rationalize women as evil to assuage their little snowflake egos.
I get laid all of the time and it’s pretty easy to do so.

I’ll also mention that I was married for 11 years. She tried to take me to the cleaners to the tune of $2,700 per month and not let me see my kids and tried to take the house I purchased before marriage.

I kept my house, sold it for a good profit, built a 4 bed 3 bath, 4 car finished garage with heat and air conditioning and a shockwave rotary car lift for less per month than my old place.

I did run an experiment with the last LTR I was in against your coat scenario and even with her paying me $500 per month, my savings depleted to almost nothing over the course of 1 year. I have since built it all the way back up to where it was before she moved in and then some, and it continues to grow now.

The other part you are missing is that what I call the “cry wolf syndrome”. It has happened to many friends of mine and even to me. This is where the relationship falls apart and she cries abuse without proof and the police tell you that you have to leave your home. That doesn’t work so well when I have joint custody of 3 kids.

Even then, with true 50/50, I pay $412 per month post tax to my ex on top of other expenses and that is considered “lucky”.

I’m in Minnesota, 30 mins south of the metro, in a beautiful city and in an area that is referred to by middle school kids as the “Beverly Hills” of the area according to my son.

I also forgot, once you have kids, she can take them away and you will have to fight through court to stay in their lives, regardless of how well you think you screened her and got to know her. That there is enough to kill 12 men per week in the U.S.

Op, what does marriage give a man that he doesn’t already have?

Another guy said that same question in here. Not sure who it was. Best question analogy ive ever heard

My daughter was born early, so she had to spend a few weeks in NICU before she could be brought home. But she’s perfectly healthy otherwise.
In Russia healthcare is 'free' with quotes because nothing is free. Free comes up to around 2 grand in U.S. dollars, or you can go new age private clinics and that will run you twice as much.

So tell me, what if you don't pay that money, for example you don't have money to pay that bill, you only making minimum wage? I mean a child is not something that just happens and then there are no more expenses, you're gonna be having expenses until he finishes college.

What if you move out of country to give birth and then come back with a ready kid, does he get a citizenship or he is an illegal alien?

I know a lot of folks from Russia come to Miami and other parts of the United States to give birth so that the kid could be a U.S. citizen. How do they do it, how much do they pay? 60 grand is a lot of money, it's about 6,800,000 rubles, average small business owner would be making about 1,200,000, and an average job pays 30,000.

How is your interpretation of marriage as art then? To volunteer my understanding of it, the Bible indicated that it's supposed to artistically show Jesus relationship with His Church. The Rapture is when He comes to take His Bride and start a Marriage Supper (while Tribulation is occurring on the Earth) and the consummation of all this is also referred to at the end of this world, and the start of the new Kingdom wherein dwelleth righteousness. I get that marriage could be a type of spiritual high art. What is the Catholic artistic interpretation of a marriage then that would make it higher than cerebral affair?

My "stupidly annoying family" includes the three only people on the planet that i completely trust.

Don't start giving me your "but the bro code!" or whatever neither lol
If you're referring to your wife as one of those, I suggest you think again. I've seen it here and experienced it in my own life on numerous occasions, women are only as loyal as their options.

You're right, 412 per month is lucky, dam lucky. Look, if you're a good earner, you'd be lucky to get out of most family court situations with your shirt still on. It's like that old line, shake the thief's hand, you better count your fingers on the way back. Many guys on here are commenting on it, but the old way of doing relationships is dead. Until something really big happens to reset the equilibrium, it's only going to keep going in the wrong direction. The way society is going these days, it's eerily similar to the movie idiocracy. The dumb people will literally breed the smart people right out of existence. And after all the smart people are gone, society will completely go to sh*t. We're probably about 3/4 of the way there. Just a little bit farther to go.

Kids, they are truly a mixed bag at this point. All kids, girls or boys (If you're still allowed to use gender pajoratives), are mommas boys. Dads are literally meaningless after the application of their seed. You try to stay active but you've always got this filter coming behind you to wipe out most of any impact you can have. They dictate the terms of interaction, sanitize anything you say or do and literally come between you and your kids, nearly impossible to have any meaningful impact or relationship with your children.

For all intents and purposes, the modern "husband" is nothing more than a zombie, wasting away while having all of his resources sucked dry. The modern woman is literally like a parasite. Once you have been sucked dry, have outlived your usefulness, you're discarded and she's on to the next sap. Yes, she will someday hit the wall and will no longer be able to do this wash, rinse, repeat type of stuff but until then? She will continue along blissfully unaware of her impending demise, sucking dry as many victims as she can in her time.
