The burden on the workforce has been lessened which is why you are poorer. Demand is down, so employers can treat people like sh*t and get away with it. This is due to a variety of factors, namely people staying in the workforce longer because they didn't save up for retirement or lost their money, immigration increasing the available work force, more women in the workplace further increasing available workforce, and efficiency gains in business and manufacturing processes reducing the need for labor, and reduced demand for employees because things get made in China anyway.

So I'll say it again, you're boiling down complex systemic issues because you're happy being oblivious and would rather have a scapegoat because it's easy. You're exactly like the groups of people you hate, except you're a different flavour.

This story happened today. A lawyer friend of mine was in the building at the time. He said the security guard who got shot is a nice guy. I don't know for sure that the shooter was gay, but it seems pretty obvious. Thankfully, gay guys are really horrible marksmen, and the guard only got shot in the arm.
